摘要: Provided is a human input apparatus and method for calculating a movement value thereof. The human input apparatus includes a plurality of touch sensors for varying and outputting output signals by direct contact, a sensing unit for receiving the output signals in parallel from the plurality of touch sensors and generating input data in response to the output signals, and a movement value calculating means for extracting valid input data from the input data and operating on and outputting a movement value using operated-on data comparing the valid input data with reference data and the reference data. Accordingly, a mechanical device mounted on the human input apparatus in order to express movement can be replaced by an electronic device employing the touch sensors, so that it is possible not only to prevent malfunction caused by noise or abrasion of a mechanical switch, but also to reduce power consumption and production cost. Further, it is advantageous for downsizing.

摘要: Disclosed are an optical pointing system and method for controlling power and/or clock signal thereof. The optical pointing system includes a movement speed sensing unit for calculating a movement speed using a movement value, a variable power unit for varying a magnitude of power supply voltage according to the calculated movement speed, and a variable clock signal generating unit for adaptively varying an operating speed of a circuit by varying a frequency of a supplied clock signal according to the calculated movement speed. 摘要: In a noise canceler, a pilot-canceling signal without noise is applied to the inverting input of a subtracter via a first MOS transistor. When a noise signal is present, a pilot signal and noise signal passing through a capacitor are applied to the inverting input port of the subtracter via a second MOS transistor to cancel the noise signal contained in the composite input signal. In the canceler, external noise may be digitally converted and the inverted noise thereof stored in a memory. When a noise signal detector detects the external noise, inverted data corresponding to the external noise is output from the memory. The detector enables an address generator to continuously generate addresses. The memory reads out inverted noise patterns which are converted into analog form and transmitted via a speaker, thereby canceling noises produced by various electrical and electronic appliances as well as nearby automobiles and aircraft.

摘要: A circuit parameter adjustment circuit for adjusting a circuit parameter (e.g., resistance or capacitance) of a circuit having N network elements connected between two nodes. The circuit parameter adjustment circuit includes N zapping devices and N switching devices coupled between the N zapping devices and the N network elements. When a zapping control signal is low, the N switching devices are directly responsive to respective ones of the N trimming signals for bypassing or not bypassing the respective ones of the N network elements, thereby facilitating testing of the value of the circuit parameter for different combinations of the trimming signals, prior to zapping the zapping devices. Then, after the optimum combination of trimming signals has been selected, the zapping control signal is driven high, whereby the N zapping devices are zapped or unzapped, depending upon the logic level of the respective ones of the N trimming signals.
