A transparent substrate has a micro electromechanical system (MEMS) on a first side of the substrate. An opaque layer is formed on a second side of the transparent substrate opposite the first side. The opaque layer comprises a first material that is removable by a MEMS release process. A second layer is formed on the opaque layer. The second layer comprises a second material that prevents contamination of a front end of line machine by the first material during a front end of line fabrication process.
Abstract:
A system to be used to add non-listed characters (i.e., characters not listed in character key-in methods) to the vocabulary banks of character-key-in methods used in hand-held mobile communication devices is disclosed. Users of a mobile communication device can select a character or characters which are built in the system but not indexed by a certain character-key-in method (that is, the characters cannot be keyed in with that character-key-in method), index the aforesaid characters, using the indexing system/method of the character-key-in method, and then add them to the key-in method's character-indexing system so that subsequent users of the mobile communication device can use said character-key-in method to key in said (originally non-indexed/listed) characters.
Abstract:
An apparatus for extending “phone book” records of a subscriber identification module (SIM) card comprising a detecting module for accessing a subscriber identification code (SIC) of the SIM card and a memory is provided. A storage window marked by the SIC is defined in the memory. As the user edits the “phone book” records of the SIM card, a portion of the records is stored in the marked storage window.
Abstract:
The present invention is to provide a dynamic power control circuit for a wireless communication device, which comprises a power detector, a comparator, a low pass filter and an adder disposed between a radio frequency auto-gain control circuit and an antenna thereof. A reference voltage is imposed on the adder to enable the power detector to detect and output signal voltage to the comparator which compares the received voltage with a specified received voltage limit and outputs a reference voltage to the low pass filter for filtering out the noise of the reference voltage and outputting it to the adder. The adder then adds the reference voltage and the specified reference voltage, and outputs the result to the radio frequency auto-gain control circuit for controlling the output power corresponding to the strength of the received signals.
Abstract:
A method for automatically removing strobe in a digital image capturer of a mobile communication apparatus and a mobile communication apparatus thereof are provided. The method comprises: providing a local area data by the mobile communication apparatus, the local area data indicating an area the mobile communication apparatus is located; generating a power frequency data corresponding to the local area data; and setting the digital image capturer based on the power frequency data to remove the strobe. The method may further includes the mobile communication apparatus detecting/communicating a telecommunication service network, the telecommunication service network providing a mobile communication service; and the telecommunication service network sending the local area data to the mobile communication apparatus.

A method for integrated processing of a high Voltage MOSFET device and a split gate MOSFET device whereby a novel method is provided to form the split gate device and the high voltage MOSFET device in parallel processing steps including an oxide formation step whereby an oxide spacer layer in a split gate device is formed using about the same overall thermal budget while forming in parallel a thick gate oxide for a an embedded high voltage MOSFET device.
Abstract:
The present invention is to provide a method of enabling a plurality of electronic devices to play an online game at the same time, which is implemented in a server and a plurality of electronic devices at a remote end of a network. Each of the electronic devices comprises a network card so that the electronic devices are able to connect to the server. In response to receiving game instructions sent from the electronic devices by the server, the server processes game data for obtaining updated data based on the game instructions, and then sends the updated data to each of the electronic devices. As such, a CPU of each of the electronic devices can receive the updated data, show a game screen on a display thereof and interactively play an online game.

The present invention discloses a high voltage resisting keyboard comprising at least one press key on a casing, a circuit board inside the casing, and a metal dome between the press keys and the circuit board inside the casing, wherein the edge of the metal hemisphere of the metal dome is directly connected to an end of an electrode of the circuit board, and the other end of the electrode is connected to an end of a resistor. Thus, when the edge of the metal hemisphere receives the high voltage current, the keyboard is protected by the resistor to avoid the high voltage current from being sent directly to another end of the resistor that is connected to another electronic component to achieve the purpose of protecting another electronic component.

The invention is to provide a method enabling mobile telephones to have automatic multiple telephone number dialing capability to a same called party consisting of establishing a database recording a plurality of telephone numbers of a called party set by a user in a telephone directory stored in a memory of a mobile telephone; automatically searching the said database to determine whether the said called party has other telephone numbers when detecting that the line of one telephone number of the said called party being dialed is busy; and listing all the other telephone numbers in the said database belonging to the said called party on a screen of the mobile telephone for selectable dialing, thereby effectively reducing the time spent on user searches for other telephone numbers as well as the annoying dialing of other telephone numbers.
