Abstract:
A system, method and computer program product are provided for uninstalling software on a computer. In use, a plurality of software products identified on a computer is displayed. Further, a first user instruction to uninstall at least a portion of at least one of the software products from the computer is received. Such first user instruction is received via an interface. Still yet, the at least a portion of the at least one software product is uninstalled from the computer, in response to the receipt of the first user instruction. Also, a second user instruction may be received to cancel the uninstallation. Thus, the uninstallation may be cancelled, in response to the receipt of the second user instruction.
Abstract:
A solder paste mixer includes a housing, a vibration mechanism, a rotating mechanism, and a fixture for fixing a solder paste jar. The housing defines a receiving space, and the vibration mechanism and the rotating mechanism are retained within the receiving space. The fixture can be vibrated by the vibration mechanism and rotated by the rotating mechanism.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a process for electrophoretic deposition of colloidal suspensions of nanoparticles, especially from aprotic solvents, onto a variety of substrates. The process provides chemical additives that can be used to improve thin films deposited from colloidal suspensions by increasing the rate of deposition and the smoothness of the deposited film. In this process, a chemical additive is used to improve the properties of the deposited thin films. The chemical additive comprises a redox couple, an organometallic complex, a metallocene, a ferrocene, or a nickelocene. The colloidal suspension can be composed of semiconductor, metal or ceramic nanoparticles suspended in an aprotic polar solvent such as acetone, acetonitrile, or pyridine. The process also improves the properties of thin films deposited from protic solvents. The particles have at least one dimension ranging from 0.1 nanometers (nm) to 500 nm.
Abstract:
A vehicular L-type suspension arm is provided in which a wheel support part is provided on one end part of an arm main body, and a first vehicle body side linking portion and a second vehicle body side linking portion are provided in an intermediate part and on the other end part thereof respectively, wherein an arm main body (A) includes an upper half body (AU) that is formed so as to have an inverted U-shaped cross-section and a lower half body (AL) that is formed by press forming a plate material in a shape that blocks the lower open end of the upper half body (AU) and is welded by welds (w1) to inner faces of a pair of side wall parts 2 of the upper half body (AU), at the other end part of the arm main body (A) the lower half body (AL) extends lengthwise further outward than the upper half body (AU), an upwardly facing cylindrical bush support part (P2) is formed by burring integrally with the extended part (Ale) so that it is the second vehicle body side connecting portion (AF2), and an outer peripheral face, close to the intermediate part of the arm main body (A), of the bush support part (P2) is butt-welded to an outer end face of the upper half body (AU). Thus, the second vehicle body side connecting portion can be formed by a simple structure in which an extended part of a lower half body of the arm main body is merely subjected to burring.
Abstract:
A vehicular L-type suspension arm is provided in which a wheel support part is provided on one end part of an arm main body, and a first vehicle body side linking portion and a second vehicle body side linking portion are provided in an intermediate part and on the other end part thereof respectively, wherein an arm main body (A) includes an upper half body (AU) having an inverted U-shaped cross-section and a lower half body (AL) that blocks the lower open end of the upper half body (AU), a first vehicle body side linking portion (AF1) is formed from front and rear support plates (SF, SR) each formed by press forming a plate material, these front and rear support plates (SF, SR) have base parts (SFa, Sra) that are integrally joined to each other, the base ends thereof being welded to an outside part of the arm main body (A), extremity parts (SFb, SRb) of the front and rear support plates (SF, SR) are arranged so as to be spaced from each other in the vehicle body fore-and-aft direction, and cylindrical bush support parts (P1) are integrally formed with the extremity parts (SFb, SRb) by burring on the same axis. Thus, the first vehicle body side linking portion can be prepared at light weight and low cost while ensuring a sufficient cross-section with a joined two-piece structure.
Abstract:
An engine, system and method for a domain social network that interconnects Internet users with at least domains owned by or of interest to those Internet users, and that may obtain and/or forward obtained dynamic data regarding those domains automatically, such as by web service or email service. The dynamic data may be used to filter and protect content and data of the respective domains, to protect users by identifying low quality web pages or malicious software or pages, to isolate or improve search results regarding the domain, and/or to improve Internet-based transaction flow, such as the creation of advertising.
Abstract:
Employing an asymmetric protocol, multiple sources reliably broadcast dynamically changing routing tables incrementally across multiple consumers from a single distributor. Each of multiple sources send current tables to the distributor using a snapshot mechanism. Message are buffered, segmented, paced by timers, and broadcast to the consumers repetitively at the distributor. Negative acknowledgments from the consumer request missing messages from the distributor after receipt of a keepalive message from the distributor. The distributor marks the missing messages and retransmits replacements from a history buffer only after firing of a resend timer. A unique Session ID included in all messages originating from each particular source facilitates reliable table distribution from multiple sources to multiple consumers via a single distributor.
Abstract:
A method and a device for maintaining a Long Term Evolution (LTE) base station are provided by the embodiments of the present invention. Depending on the LTE access network system and air interface characteristics, by making a few processing flow changes in such mode or method, a wireless communication link is established between a network maintenance device and a base station to implement the base station maintenance and data communication. Application of the technical solutions provided by the embodiments of the present invention can implement the base station maintenance and data communication by the wireless mode, reduce the cost of the network maintenance and prevent the destruction and influence of human factors on the operation and maintenance of the base station.
Abstract:
An device for Raman spectroscopy such as surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) is disclosed herein. Various embodiments may be utilized to prepare a SERS substrate using several deposition techniques such as pulsed laser deposition. Some embodiments optimize coverage, volume, or elements of SERS active metals. The method is a single step inexpensive method for preparing a SERS active substrate. In some embodiments a coating layer underneath the SERS active metals is utilized for additional enhancements.
Abstract:
A method of forming nanometer sized fine particles of functional ceramic from a bulk functional ceramic, particularly fine particles of phosphorous ceramics from a bulk phosphor material is disclosed. The method relies on irradiation of a bulk phosphorous ceramic in a liquid with an ultrashort-pulsed-laser-fragmentation beam to thereby form nanometer sized particles of the phosphorous ceramic. The method is unique in that the generated particles retain the chemical and crystalline properties of the bulk phosphorous ceramic. The generated solutions are stable colloids from which the particles can be isolated or used as is.
