When any of the obtained power storage unit temperatures is lower than a corresponding temperature lower limit value, the converter ECU generates a temperature increase instruction for the power storage unit of which temperature is lower than the corresponding temperature lower limit value, based on the temperature increase start signal. In addition, the converter ECU selects one control mode from among a plurality of control modes set in advance, based on the generated temperature increase instruction, and sets that mode as the control mode for a converter.

    摘要: When a torque command value from an external ECU is within a predetermined variation width, a control unit generates a signal and outputs the signal to a voltage command calculation unit so that electrostatic energy stored in a capacitor is kept at a predetermined threshold value or larger. Based on the signal, the voltage command calculation unit determines a target voltage of a voltage step-up converter that corresponds to a terminal-to-terminal voltage of the capacitor. In contrast, when the torque command value is out of the predetermined variation width, the control unit determines electric power to be supplied from a DC power supply to an inverter for allowing electric power to be supplied predominantly from the capacitor rather than from the DC power supply and outputs a signal. Based on this signal, the voltage command calculation unit determines the target voltage.

    摘要: An electric motor vehicle includes a battery that serves as a driving source for generating electric power, a pair of positive and negative electrode portions respectively connected to a positive electrode and a negative electrode of the battery, a resistor formed of a resistive material, and a first and a second contact portions connected to the resistor. The first and the second contact portion face the positive electrode portion and the negative electrode portion, respectively. The resistor is kept insulated from the battery in a normal operation state of the electric motor vehicle. At least one of the positive electrode, the first contact portion, the negative electrode and the second contact portion is displaced owing to an external force applied to the electric motor in an abnormal operation state such that the electrodes are in contact with their respective contact portions and the positive electrode and the negative electrode are short circuited in an abnormal operation state.
