    摘要: To allow continuous paper to be printed a plurality of times with a time difference by ink jet printer equipment and dried each time of printing while preventing condensation from occurring on an ink discharge surface of print head at and after the second time of printing, there is provided a printing apparatus comprising: a plurality of trains of printing units each of which has print heads arranged along a direction in which a continuous sheet of paper travels and which are arranged parallel to one another as shifted mutually in position in a direction of width of the continuous sheet of paper; a dryer section in which a plurality of continuous sheets of paper from the plural printing unit trains can travel as mutually shifted in position in a direction of width of the continuous sheet of paper; a cooling roller unit disposed downstream of the dryer section and having a cooling roller on which the plurality of continuous sheets of paper from the dryer section can be wound as mutually shifted in position in a direction of width of the continuous sheet of paper; and a turnover unit disposed between the cooling roller unit and a train of printing units for shifting the continuous sheet of paper in position into a direction of its width while reversing the direction in which it travels.

    摘要: In order to maintain ink supply pressure to a recording head constant while supplying the recording head with ink with an minimum of air entrained therein, the invention provides an ink supplier which comprises a main ink reservoir, a subsidiary ink reservoir connected to the main ink reservoir for replenishment with ink from the main ink reservoir and a means whereby a position head of the ink liquid level in the subsidiary ink reservoir is maintained substantially constant relative to a printing head face of the recording head. Included preferably also are a deaerator associated with the subsidiary ink reservoir for removing air from ink therein and a float floating on ink in the subsidiary ink reservoir. Further, in order for a mechanism that adjusts the position head for ink supply to the recording head to be made light equipped and manufactured at reduced cost, the invention provides an ink supplier that comprises a back pressure reservoir connected between the main ink reservoir and the recording head and adapted to maintain a height of the ink liquid level therein substantially constant against an amount of ink consumption by the recording head and a means for adjusting the back pressure reservoir in its vertical position, thereby adjusting a position head of the ink liquid level in the back pressure reservoir relative to a printing head face of the recording head.

    摘要: A newspaper producing method can produce a plurality kinds of newspapers different in page numbers and colors by using a single printing unit. This method includes a plurality of printing cycles, each of which produces a plurality of lateral printed rows on each side of a continuous web, with each row having different contents relative to each other, with each row having at least two printed segments in a width direction of the continuous web, and with rows on opposite sides of the continuous web corresponding to each other. This printed continuous web is cut with respect to each of the lateral printed rows and each two-page spread of newspaper, and these cut portions are set and are delivered for every printing cycle. Each set of these portions is folded at a longitudinal central portion of a two-page spread thereof.

    摘要: A web-fed offset printing press has printing units each comprising a plate cylinder, a blanket cylinder, and an impression cylinder, the impression cylinder being movable into and out of rolling engagement with the blanket cylinder via the web. A first printing unit prints a first image portion on the web at prescribed spacings, by moving the impression cylinder away from the blanket cylinder each time one first image portion is printed. A second printing unit prints a second image portion on the spacings left on the web by the first printing unit, also by moving the impression cylinder away from the blanket cylinder each time one second image portion is printed. A variable speed motor rotates each blanket cylinder, while each time the associated impression cylinder is held away to create a space on the web for causing printing of the first or the second printing portion at required spacings.

    摘要: A paper folding apparatus for a form printing machine includes an automatic paper cutting device having a cutting cylinder, which is disposed on an upstream side of an oscillatory shooter assembly, and which is adapted to form a cross line of cuts interposed by at least one small uncut portion in a continuous web of paper. The cutting cylinder is synchronously rotated with the paper for forming the cross line of cuts in response to a signal detected according to a predetermined length of travel of the continuous web of paper. The apparatus also includes a supporting device disposed on the oscillatory shooter assembly which supports a nozzle roller so that the nozzle roller may be moved to a first position which is displaced either toward or away from a counter roller so as to enable the continuous web of paper to slidingly travel between the two rollers, and a second position wherein the paper is intensively pressed against the counter roller so that the paper is prevented from sliding between the two rollers. The apparatus also includes an operating device which is disposed on the oscillatory shooter assembly which moves the nozzle roller supported by the supporting device from the first position to the second position when the cross line of cuts formed by the cutting cylinder arrives on the upstream side of and immediately before the nozzle roller.
