    摘要: An information recording/reproduction head has a slider (8) having a rail (10) provided with a groove (11), which is coated with a hydrophilic surface treatment agent (12). The rail (10) is provided at a corner thereof with a part having a radius of curvature smaller than the half diameter of a dust cluster multiplied by a predetermined constant. No dust is allowed to adhere to the head when the recording medium is driven to revolve. Dust is prevented from adhering to the surface of the recording medium and entering the gap between the head and the recording medium.

    摘要: A ferroelectric thin film (6) is formed on the surface of a support spring (4) for pressing a magnetic head (3) against a magnetic disc (1) so that the magnetic head (3) is in close contact with the magnetic disc (1). When the magnetic head (3) jumps out of the magnetic disc (1), electrostatic attractive force acts between the ferroelectric thin film (6) and the magnetic disc (1) to prevent the jumping of the magnetic head (3). Further, when the magnetic head (3) is excessively pressed against the magnetic disc (1), electrostatic repulsive force acts between the ferroelectric thin film (6) and the magnetic disc (1) to prevent the pressing force from increasing, thereby preventing the magnetic head (3) and the magnetic recording surface of the magnetic disc (1) from being worn or scratched.

    摘要: An improved receiver dryer header portion for a refrigeration circuit is disclosed. The receiver dryer comprises a cylindrical body having an upper opening and a header portion disposed on the upper opening. The header portion includes a cover plate which is formed as step-like structure having a lower flat surface and an upper flat surface. A fluid inlet port is rotatably disposed on the lower flat surface and a fluid outlet port is rotatably disposed on the upper flat surface. This enables the fluid outlet port to rotate 360.degree. and the fluid input port to rotate more than 180.degree. thereby permitting the piping arrangement of the refrigeration circuit to be easily connected and properly sealed.

    摘要: Herein disclosed is an improved magnetic recording medium which comprises a substrate, a magnetic recording layer, if necessary, a protective layer, an adhesion promoting layer and a lubricant layer, respectively applied or deposited on the substrate in the recited order.The magnetic recording medium is characterized in that the difference T.sub.a -T.sub.1) between the specific surface tension T.sub.a of the adhesion promoting layer and the specific surface tension T.sub.1 of the lubricant layer is adjusted to -5 to 30 dyne/cm.The magnetic recording layer according to the present invention is improved in that the lubricant layer is adhered strongly to the adhesion promoting layer so that the lubricant is hardly dissipated at the time of rotation of the magnetic recording medium. Thus the loss in the volume of the lubricant layer decreases. As a result, the properties of the magnetic recording medium such as durability and abrasion resistance are improved.
