摘要: In an optical printing system for printing an image on a recording sheet, adopted as the recording sheet is a sheet coated with microcapsules on one surface thereon. Each microcapsule envelopes a first component which changes color when reacts with a second component. The second component may be coated on the recording sheet or may be coated on a separate developing sheet. The microcapsule further envelopes a third component which varies the mechanical strength of microcapsule when light is projected thereto. An image is formed on the recording sheet by selectively exposing a light thereto in accordance with the image to be printed thereon, and the microcapsules on the recording sheet whose mechanical strength is low are then ruptured by rupturing means. Thereby, the visible image is developed. The exposing is carried out by repeating a predetermined-period exposure at a predetermined interval against the same portion of the recording sheet. The printing operation of the printing system is executed by control means in accordance with a predetermined sequence.

摘要: An exposure device for forming an image on a photosensitive member is disclosed, which is provided with a shutter unit disposed between the photosensitive member and a light source. The shutter unit includes a plurality of shutter elements adapted to open and close for selective transmission of the light from the light source therethrough. Further provided are driving means for reciprocally moving the shutter unit along the row of the shutter elements, and control means for controlling opening and closure of the shutter elements. With the above constructed exposure device, the shutter elements are repeatedly opened or closed when moved to a different position along the row of shutter elements by means of driving means. An image of higher resolution is thus formed on the photosensitive member by means of the light passed through the light transmitting area corresponding to the shutter element kept open.

摘要: A storage receptacle is usable in a map pocket without requiring an intermediate adapter ring. The storage receptacle only uses part of the storage space within the map pocket, and leaves the rest of the space available for maps or other personal items. The receptacle may be dimensioned to use less than half the space of the vehicle door pocket. In a selected illustrative embodiment, a storage receptacle is adapted to receive and store glasses therein, such as eyeglasses or sunglasses. The storage receptacle includes a receptacle case made from a strong plastic material, and may also include a liner made from a material such as foam padding, cloth, and/or flocking provided on an inner wall of the receptacle case, to protect glasses which may be stored therein.

摘要: An original scanning device can set a brake operation starting timing in a scanner backward movement to a predetermined timing, even if a scanning distance of the device is determined at any distance. To do so, a copy machine starts braking the scanning device when a sensor detects that the scanning device backwardly moved to a predetermined position. In this machine, a distance to be scanned by the scanning device is determined based on an original size or a copy magnification, it is judged whether or not a distance between a turn position of the scanning device and the predetermined position according to the determined distance to be scanned is a distance by which the scanning device can reach a predetermined speed in its backward movement, the scanning device is backwardly moved after forwardly moving it to a position according to the determined distance to be scanned in case of affirmative judgment, and the scanning device is backwardly moved after forwardly moving it to a position according to the distance by which the scanning device can reach the predetermined speed in its backward movement in case of negative judgment.

摘要: To increase the efficiency of graphic data print process in a printer, graphic print data such as diagrams and images are compressed in a personal computer according to a special compression/coding format specific of the printer to be used so that the resultant compressed graphic print data can be developed into dot image data in the printer. The resultant compressed graphic print data is transmitted to the printer and is temporarily stored in reception data buffer of the printer. The compressed graphic print data stored in the reception data buffer is developed into dot image print data. Printing is performed on a print sheet by a printing mechanism according to the developed dot image print data.
