    摘要： Provided are processes for the low temperature deposition of silicon-containing films using activated SiH-containing precursors. The SiH-containing precursors may have reactive functionality such as halogen or cyano moieties. Described are processes in which halogenated or cyanated silanes are used to deposit SiN films. Plasma processing conditions can be used to adjust the carbon, hydrogen and/or nitrogen content of the films.

    摘要： There is a class of applications that favor expediency of the communications over reliability. Counter-intuitively, the reliability aspect of a protocol may cause sub-optimal performance when considering this special class of applications in some environments. To resolve this performance issue, the exemplary illustrative non-limiting protocol implementation favors timeliness over reliability by allowing for loss of data, thus providing a non-guaranteed, order sensitive level of service. Such features can be combined in the same system and data stream/channel with a guaranteed-reliable protocol to provide a roamable VPN simultaneously providing both guaranteed-reliable and real-time, dynamically adaptable performance.

    摘要： An apparatus for offloading network, block and file functions from an operating system comprises a network interface coupled to a network for receiving packet flows; one or more processors each having one or more processor cores; a computer-readable medium carrying one or more operating systems and an input/output networking stack which are hosted in one or more of the processor cores. The networking stack is shared among the operating systems. The networking stack comprises instructions which when executed cause receiving a request for data transfer from one of the operating systems at internal network, block and file system interfaces, and permitting data to be transferred between the internal interfaces and a plurality of external interfaces by preventing the operating systems from performing the data transfer and performing the data transfer on behalf of the operating systems.

    摘要： A method and system are provided for modeling and optimizing the performance of transportation networks, e.g. for traffic signal retiming. The modeling and optimization may be implemented by obtaining a video signal from a camera at a first intersection; processing data from the video signal to determine at least one value indicative of a corresponding traffic flow through the first intersection; sending the at least one value to a remote processing entity via a wireless network to enable the remote processing entity to update a model of the transportation network, the transportation network comprising the first intersection and at least a second intersection; receiving from the remote processing entity, an instruction for a controller at the first intersection, the instruction having been determined from an update of the model based on data from at least the second intersection; and having the instruction implemented by the controller at the first intersection to optimize at least a portion of the transportation network.
