Provided is a process for producing a dispersion liquid of carbon nanotube aggregates in which the carbon nanotube aggregates are dispersed in a dispersion medium, comprising the two steps: (A) a step of adsorbing a dispersant to carbon nanotube aggregates by physical dispersion treatment in a dispersion medium to prepare a carbon nanotube paste with a particle size of 100 nm to 20 μm resulting from partial dissociation of a mass of the carbon nanotube aggregates; and (B) a step of dispersing the carbon nanotube paste by ultrasonic dispersion treatment. A process for producing a dispersion liquid of carbon nanotube aggregates with reduced destruction and breakage of graphite structure of a carbon nanotube aggregate can be provided.

Provided is an aggregate of carbon nanotubes wherein a mixture of 10 mg of aggregate of carbon nanotubes, 30 mg of sodium polystyrene sulfonate and 10 mL of water is subjected to ultrasonic homogenizer treatment, subsequently subjected to centrifugal treatment at 20000 G, then 9 mL of supernatant is sampled, and the content of aggregate of carbon nanotubes in the supernatant is 0.6 mg/mL or more. The aggregate of carbon nanotubes of the present invention can provide a dispersion of an aggregate of carbon nanotubes having a high concentration through very good dispersibility.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a valve seat product in which the amount of hard particles added to improve the wear resistance of a valve seat of an internal combustion engine is increased, and is excellent in the mechanical strength and machinability. In order to achieve the object, an iron-based sintered alloy material for a valve seat is employed which is made to contain a first hard particle having an average primary particle diameter of 5 to 20 μm and a second hard particle having an average primary particle diameter of 20 to 150 μm in a texture, wherein a particle size distribution curve measured by laser diffraction scattering analysis has N peaks (N is an integer equal to or larger than 2) and when particle diameters corresponding to the peak top positions are denoted as DT1 to DTN, a peak top particle diameter difference between neighboring DTn-1 and DTn(|DTn-1−DTn|: n is an integer equal to or larger than 2 and equal to or smaller than N) is in the range of 15 to 100 μm in at least one neighboring DTn-1 and DTn; and the total area ratio occupied by both of the first hard particle and the second hard particle constituting the mixed hard particle in the texture of the iron-based sintered alloy is 10 to 60% by area.
