    摘要: In an inkjet printing apparatus which performs printing on a printing medium using an inkjet printhead for discharging ink, preliminary discharge, where ink discharge irrespective of printing is performed at the time of print execution, is performed under a predetermined condition to obtain information regarding a discharge state of the printhead. Based on the obtained information, an execution condition of the preliminary discharge is controlled. By virtue of this control, an execution condition (parameter) of the preliminary discharge can appropriately be controlled in accordance with the discharge state of the printhead, in which the ink drying state and the increased viscosity state of ink vary depending on individual differences, usage environment, usage histories (durability) and so on.

    摘要: The first and second check valve mechanisms, which are applicable to a small-size double-layered container, are created while maintaining high productivity. The discharge container provided with these check valve mechanisms comprises an outer container, which has the flexibility to make this outer container squeezable and recoverable to its original shape and which is provided with a cylindrical outer neck on top thereof. This discharge container also comprises an inner container, which is deformable with the decrease in the content and is disposed inside the outer container under the condition that cylindrical inner neck has been directly engaged with, and tightly fitted to, the outer neck. The first check valve mechanism is engaged with, and tightly fitted to, the inside of the inner neck and is used to open or close the opening of the inner neck while preventing outside air from creeping in the inner container. The second check valve mechanism is engaged with, and tightly fitted to, either one of the outer neck or the inner neck, with the lower end of this mechanism being in tight contact circumferentially with the other one of the outer neck or the inner neck, and is used to open or close airflow paths, which extends from the upper air intakes near the outer neck in a manner that allows outside air to enter the void between the outer and inner containers but does not allow air in the void to escape outside. There is thus provided a highly sanitary discharge container having high productivity and affording no entry of outside air into the inner container.

    摘要: In an airtight compact for a cosmetic, a main container member (1) is formed such that an inner frame member (3), which has a storage portion (14) for a cosmetic implement and an accommodation portion for an inner dish (5), is fitted and fixed within a outer frame member (2). The outer frame member has a shallow container shape with a catch wall (6) on a front surface wall thereof and a protuberant catch strip (6a) which engages with an outer lid member (9) and a sliding surface (6b) along which a release-activating piece (13) is slidable. An inner dish (4), which has a peripheral resilient sealing member about the opening thereof, is fitted firmly into the inner-dish accommodation portion of the inner frame member. A lid assembly is formed such that an inner side of the outer lid member (9) is integrally provided with an inner lid member (7) for sealing the inner dish, where the inner lid member is formed with a catch protrusion (7a) on a front edge portion thereof and a hinge (18) for connection to the outer frame member on a rear edge portion thereof. The binge (18) is connected in such a manner that the lid assembly is linked in a freely openable manner to a rear edge portion of the outer frame member (2) of the main container member. A catch piece (10) is disposed perpendicularly at a front edge portion of the outer lid member (9) and is provided with a catch protrusion (10a) that engages with the protuberant catch strip (6a) of the outer frame member (9). A hook piece (11) is disposed perpendicularly on an inner surface of a central portion of the outer lid member so as to engage with the catch protrusion (7a) of the inner lid member and the release-activating piece (13) at the front edge portion of the outer lid member is attached thereto in a rotational manner.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a microwave plasma processing apparatus for processing such as thin film formation, etching, sputtering, and plasma oxidation, etc., on a surface of a processing object by utilizing a high density plasma generated by electron cyclotron resonance. A vacuum vessel of the apparatus, in which a microwave transmitted by a microwave guide is utilized for converting gas supplied to the vacuum vessel to plasma for the plasma processing of the processing object placed in the vacuum vessel, is formed in, such manner that the interior space of the vacuum vessel extends beyond the outer periphery of magnetic field generating coils, and the extended portion of the vessel is provided with a gas outlet for connection with an evacuation apparatus to evacuate the interior of the vacuum vessel to a desired vacuum degree. Accordingly, preferable evacuating characteristics can be obtained even in a case when a large amount of the reaction gas is supplied to the vacuum vessel in order to process a large size processing object, because the vacuum vessel in which the processing object is placed can be connected with the evacuation apparatus through a space and the same effect as if the evacuation apparatus is directly connected with the vacuum vessel is realized.
