Abstract:
A card connector which permits insertion of a card from a side of an insulator thereof is provided. A protruded portion is formed on the bottom of a rear end of a slider movably accommodated with a hollow insulator. When the slider is moved in the direction of insertion of a card (miniature card) to bring a recessed terminal array portion of the card to a position exactly above a protruded terminal array portion of a circuit board, the protruded portion is caused to drop into a recess formed in a bottom wall of the hollow insulator to thereby incline the slider with respect to the direction of insertion of the card to fit the recessed terminal array portion of the miniature card on the protruded terminal array portion of the circuit board. The slider is urged against the bottom wall of the hollow insulator by a spring, and urged toward an insertion opening of the hollow insulator by another spring. An ejector button is arranged in the hollow insulator for returning the card to a level position.

A disinfection method, a disinfection device, and a disinfecting agent which utilizes light, which can achieve a high disinfection effect within a short time are provided. A disinfecting agent containing catechins is brought into contact with an item to be disinfected, and then the disinfecting agent is irradiated with light. The disinfecting agent preferably comprises an aqueous proanthocyanidin solution produced by polymerizing multiple catechin molecules each having a gallate group. Particularly, the aqueous proanthocyanidin solution preferably has a proanthocyanidin concentration of 0.25 to 4 mg/mL. Light with which the disinfecting agent is irradiated preferably has a wavelength of 350 to 500 nm.

A steel cord for reinforcing a rubber article which can improve the cut resistant property in the case of treading on an obtusely or sharply pointed projection without decreasing the strength in the axial direction of the cord and without increasing the tire weight, as well as a tire utilizing the same as a reinforcing material, are provided.The steel cord for reinforcing a rubber article has a multi-twisted structure formed by twisting a plurality of sheath strands (2) formed by twisting a plurality of wires around a core strand (2) formed by twisting a plurality of wires, and the core strand (1) and the sheath strands (2) are constituted of an at least 2-layer-twisted structure formed by twisting core wires and sheath wires respectively. In this case the relationship represented by the following formula 1.8≦[(S·cos2α)/{r·(φ1+φ2)}]×100≦4.2 is satisfied, wherein φ1: the diameter of an outermost wire of the strand (1), φ2: the diameter of an outermost wire of the strand (2), r: the center distance between the strand (1) and the strand (2), S: the cross section of the strand (2), and α: the twist angle of the strand (2).

In a connector adapted to be connected to and disconnected from a connection object in connecting and disconnecting directions, the connector includes a first housing for receiving the connection object and a second housing holding the first housing so that the first housing is three-dimensionally movable. A contact is held by the first and the second housings. The second housing includes a stopper mechanism three-dimensionally defining a movable range of the first housing.
