In at least some cross sections of the metallic reinforcing cord (10), at least two of said metallic wires (11) are arranged to a minimum mutual distance greater than, or equal to, 2.5 times the predetermined diameter.
Abstract:
A pneumatic tire is disclosed that can improve high-speed durability and shock resistance without increasing the mass of a belt reinforcing layer. The pneumatic tire includes a carcass, a belt on the outer periphery of a crown part of the carcass and a belt reinforcing layer on the outer periphery of the belt, wherein the belt reinforcing layer is provided with a belt reinforcing ply including an organic fiber cord having a double twisting structure obtained by intertwisting two first twisted yarns including a filament bundle of aliphatic polyamide fibers, having nominal fineness of 4000 dtex or less and having tensile toughness (J) per one cord of 5 J or more, and a major diameter direction of the belt reinforcing ply is parallel to a belt outer periphery, and the product of the toughness (J) per one organic fiber cord and cord count (number/25 mm) is 130 to 180.
Abstract:
A tire having a rubber body in which a steel cord is embedded, wherein a layer composed of ZnxCoyO is formed at the interface between the steel cord and the rubber body and x+y is 5/6 or more and 1 or less.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a cable bead for a pneumatic tire which constitutes a bead part of a pneumatic tire, improves rubber permeability by restricting a ratio between a diameter of a cable and a pitch of an outer wire, and improves durability of a pneumatic tire by improving rubber adhesive properties through cobalt coating on a surface of the outer wire, and a pneumatic tire having the same, and the cable bead for a pneumatic tire is characterized in that the diameter D of the cable and a pitch P of the outer wire 20 satisfy a relationship formula, P/D=25 to 45, and further characterized in that the surface of the outer wire 20 is coated with cobalt after wire drawing.
Abstract:
An aramid textile cord (50) with at least triple twist (T1, T2, T3) comprises at least N strands (20a, 20b, 20c, 20d), N being greater than 1, twisted together with a final twist T3 and a final direction D2, each strand being made up of M pre-strands (10a, 10b, 10c), M being greater than 1, themselves twisted together with an intermediate twist T2 (T2a, T2b, T2c, T2d) and an intermediate direction D1 opposite to D2, each pre-strand itself consisting of a yarn (5) which has been twisted on itself beforehand with an initial twist T1 (T1a, T1b, T1c) and the direction D1, in which at least half of the N times M yarns are aramid yarns. This textile cord can advantageously be used as a reinforcer in tires for vehicles, particularly in the belt or carcass reinforcement of these tires.
