Abstract:
Without decreasing the strength in the axial direction of the cord, and without increasing the thickness in the radial direction, a steel cord for reinforcing a rubber article, which improves durability against cut, as well as a construction vehicle tire utilizing the steel cord for reinforcing a rubber article as a reinforcing material is provided.A steel cord for reinforcing a rubber article is formed by twisting a plurality of sheath strands 2 formed by twisting a plurality of wires around a core strand 1 formed by twisting a plurality of wires, wherein the core strand 1 is constituted of a 4-layer-twisted structure and the diameter of the steel cord is 5 mm or larger. The tire of the present invention is a tire which has a belt constituted with 6 belt plies with cords arrayed on the outer side in the radial direction of the tire at a crown part of the carcass, which are crossed between the laminated plies, and wherein the steel cords for reinforcing a rubber article are applied to the third belt layer and the fourth belt layer.

A sound direction estimation apparatus includes a sound source model storage unit that stores likelihood of a sound source class in correspondence with a sound feature quantity, a sound signal input unit that receives a sound signal, a sound source identification unit that identifies a sound source class of the sound signal input from the sound signal input unit with reference to the sound source model storage unit based on the sound feature quantity of the sound signal, and a first sound source localization unit that estimates a sound direction of the sound signal of the sound source class identified by the sound source identification unit.
Abstract:
An eject mechanism comprises an eject member, a lock member and a lock release member. The eject member is configured to, when an object is positioned at a predetermined position, eject the object from the predetermined position along an eject direction. The lock member is configured to lock the object on the predetermined position against the eject member. The lock release member is configured to, when the lock release member is moved in the eject direction, release the lock of the object by the lock member. The eject mechanism ejects the object when the lock release member is moved in the eject direction.
Abstract:
In a card connector to be connected to a card, An ejecting member is provided so as to be movable along a predetermined plane for ejecting the card in an ejecting direction. The ejecting member has a card contacting portion to be contacted with the card and a cam-operated portion. The ejecting member is urged towards the ejecting direction by a urging member. A cam mechanism is provided so as to movable along the predetermined plane in a direction intersecting the ejecting direction. The cam mechanism is elastically supported by a supporting member so that it is disposed at a predetermined position. The cam mechanism has a cam portion for controlling a position of the ejecting member in cooperation with the cam-operated portion.

Abstract:
In a card connector to be fixed to a mounting object and used for connecting a card, a stopper is coupled to an insulator holding a conductive contact. The stopper has a fixing portion to be fixed to the mounting object. Furthermore, the stopper has a butting portion to be engaged with the card in a predetermined direction when the card is inserted in the predetermined direction into a receiving portion defined by a cover coupled to the insulator.
Abstract:
If a PC card is inserted into a card slot for the PC card, both of button portions are pressed by the PC card. When the both of the button portions are pressed outwardly in the Z-direction, both of engagement portions are released from engagement recesses, respectively, so that a stopper is allowed to move in a space to permit the PC card to be inserted into the card slot. Otherwise, the stopper is still locked at a position shown in the drawing, by at least one of the engagement portions to prevent an erroneous card having a thickness smaller than the PC card from being inserted into the card slot.
Abstract:
A card connector which permits insertion of a card from a side of an insulator thereof is provided. A protruded portion is formed on the bottom of a rear end of a slider movably accommodated with a hollow insulator. When the slider is moved in the direction of insertion of a card (miniature card) to bring a recessed terminal array portion of the card to a position exactly above a protruded terminal array portion of a circuit board, the protruded portion is caused to drop into a recess formed in a bottom wall of the hollow insulator to thereby incline the slider with respect to the direction of insertion of the card to fit the recessed terminal array portion of the miniature card on the protruded terminal array portion of the circuit board. The slider is urged against the bottom wall of the hollow insulator by a spring, and urged toward an insertion opening of the hollow insulator by another spring. An ejector button is arranged in the hollow insulator for returning the card to a level position.
Abstract:
In an I/O card has a case having metallic top and bottom covers, a printed circuit board mounted in the case, a connector disposed in the case for connecting with a personal computer system, and a card side I/O connector disposed in the case for mating with a cable side I/O connector connected to external device, the card side I/O connector is provided with no shell but is in direct contact with the metallic top and bottom covers, so that the both covers came in direct contact with a metallic shell of the cable side I/O connector when the cable side I/O connector is mated with the card side I/O connector. In an embodiment, the top cover is provided with locking pieces which engages with elastic locks of the cable side I/O connector for locking a mating condition between the card side I/O connector and the cable side I/O connector.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes a fixing unit having a heat source, a temperature detecting unit for detecting a temperature of the fixing unit, an initial operation necessity detecting unit for determining whether an initial operation should be performed in the image forming apparatus, an initial operation selecting control unit for selecting an initial operation from among a plurality of predetermined initial operations based on the temperature detected by the temperature detecting unit when the initial operation necessity detecting unit detects that the initial operation should be performed, and a control unit for controlling the fixing unit so that the fixing unit performs the initial operation selected by the initial operation selecting control unit. Furthermore, a temperature control apparatus includes a determination unit for determining, based on the detected temperature of the body, whether the temperature of the body should be increased or decreased, a temperature increasing control unit for applying an AC voltage from the AC power supply to the heater so that the temperature of the body is increased when the determination unit determines that the temperature of the body should be increased, and a temperature decreasing control unit for applying to the heater a pulse-shaped AC voltage which is repeatedly turned on and off at a frequency so that the temperature of the body is decreased when the determination unit determined that the temperature of the body should be decreased, the frequency being generally not perceived by people.
