Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing a transport network layer (TNL) address discovery procedure in a wireless communication system is provided. A first eNodeB (eNB) transmits at least one of a TNL address of the first eNB and a TNL address of an X2-gateway (GW), and a source eNB identifier (ID). The eNB may further transmit an indication of X2 setup which indicates whether a direct X2 interface between the first eNB and a second eNB or an indirect X2 interface going through the X2-GW is to be set up.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting an indication of cell coverage in a wireless communication system is provided. A first eNodeB (eNB) transmits an indication which indicates cell coverage of an active antenna system (AAS) to a second eNB. The indication may be one of a cell split/merge/remove indication.
Abstract:
The present document is for a wireless communication with reduced internal signaling burden in the distributed antenna system (DAS). In the proposed method, a user equipment (UE) receives a first information unit from the network by a first distributed unit (DU) among multiple DUs distributed within the UE. The first DU reports reception information of the first information unit to a central unit (CU) of the UE, wherein the CU controls the multiple DUs. The first DU receives, from the CU, a direction regarding a transfer of the first information unit to the CU, and transfers the first information unit to the CU when the direction indicates a specific value.
Abstract:
In the present invention, the method and apparatus for direct or indirect signaling between eNBs in a wireless communication system that support Dual Connectivity are disclosed. In particular, the method for signaling between eNBs in a wireless communication system that support Dual Connectivity, comprising transmitting, by a first eNB, information indicating whether the first eNB supports the Dual Connectivity function to a second eNB, and transmitting and receiving, by the first eNB, signaling for the Dual Connectivity with the second eNB, if the first eNB supports the Dual Connectivity.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for obtaining radio access network (RAN) sharing information in a wireless communication system is provided. For an overload procedure, an evolved NodeB (eNB), which is shared by a plurality of operators, receives an indication of overloaded operator from a mobility management entity (MME), and performs an overload action for the overloaded operator indicated by the indication. Further, for a load balancing procedure, a first eNB, which is shared by a plurality of operators, receives a status report per operator from a second eNB, which is shared by the plurality of operators, and performs a load balancing action based on the status report.
Abstract:
A method for determining a radio resource control (RRC) configuration in a wireless communication system supporting dual connectivity, and an apparatus supporting the same is disclosed. The method for determining, by a base station (BS), a radio resource control (RRC) configuration in a wireless communication system supporting dual connectivity, includes transmitting, by a first BS, a first RRC configuration of a serving cell of the first BS or remained user equipment (UE) capability to a second BS configured in a UE, and receiving, by the first BS, a second RRC configuration of a serving cell of the second BS configured in the UE from the second BS. The first BS and the second BS are involved in dual connectivity for the UE, and the second RRC configuration is determined by the second BS based on the first RRC configuration or the remained UE capability.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting user equipment (UE) group information in a wireless communication system is provided. A source eNodeB (eNB) of a handover procedure transmits a handover request message including UE group information to a target eNB of the handover procedure when the source eNB hands over a UE to the target eNB. The UE group information is included in a UE history information IE (information element) of the handover request message.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and a device for transmitting control information in a wireless communication system. A method for transmitting control information in a wireless communication system may comprise the steps of: transmitting, by a terminal, first cellular control information to a base station in a cellular system; and transmitting, by the terminal, second cellular control information to the base station through an AP in a wireless LAN system, wherein the terminal can communicate with the base station and the AP, and the first cellular control information and the second cellular control information may be control information for a service for the terminal of the base station.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for allocating physical cell identities (PCIs) in a wireless communication system is provided. An eNodeB (eNB) allocates PCIs for split cells of an active antenna system (AAS), and transmits information on range of the allocated PCIs for split cells of the AAS to user equipments (UEs) or neighbor eNBs.
Abstract:
Provided are a method and an apparatus for transmitting a maximum stratum level in a wireless communication system. An evolved NodeB (eNB) or a home eNB (HeNB) having a global positioning system (GPS) constitutes a maximum stratum level indicating a maximum value of a hop capable of supporting radio interface based synchronization (RIBS) and transmits the constituted maximum stratum level to a small cell. Meanwhile, the small cell determines whether a stratum level is greater than the maximum stratum level, and transmits the maximum stratum level to the eNB or the HeNB having the GPS when the stratum level is greater than the maximum stratum level.
