Methods and systems for wireless communication are disclosed and may include generating via a wireless mobile communication device (WMCD), persistent remote agents (PRAs) that may be enabled to perform one or more tasks. The PRAs may be communicated to remote devices to perform the tasks. The preferences of a user of the WMCD may be incorporated into the PRAs. The result of the tasks may be received by the WMCD from the remote devices. The PRAs may be communicated from the WMCD to the remote devices via one of a plurality of wireless protocols. At least one additional PRA may be spawned from the PRAs at the remote devices, and may be communicated to additional remote devices. The tasks may be performed by the PRAs periodically. The WMCD may communicate a message to the remote devices to initiate performance of the tasks by the PRAs.

The offset voltages of the level detector and the replica bias circuit may be combined to eliminate the associated zero input offset voltage of the level detector. The output signal may be generated by a difference of output signals from the level detector and the replica bias circuit. The level detector and the replica bias circuit may be biased utilizing a similar bias voltage. A plurality of known input voltages may be utilized to generate a corresponding plurality of output voltages of the level detector, generating a corrected transfer function that may be used to accurately set a transmitter power level.

Aspects of a method and system for compensating for estimated distortion in a transmitter by utilizing a digital predistortion scheme with a quadrature feedback mixer configuration are presented. Aspects of the system may include an RF transmitter that enables generation of an RF output signal in response to one or more generated input signals. One or more feedback signals may be generated by performing frequency downconversion on the RF output signal within a corresponding one or more feedback mixer circuits. The generated one or more feedback signals may be inserted at a corresponding one or more insertion points in an RF receiver. Each insertion point may be between a receiver mixer circuit and corresponding circuits that generate a baseband signal based on the corresponding one of the feedback signals.

One of the M generated signals may be selected for processing without the use of an antenna switch, where the selecting may be based on the measured signal strength. Each of the plurality of received wireless signals may be amplified prior to the measuring. One or both of an in-phase (I) component and/or a quadrature (Q) component may be generated for each of the M generated signals.
