    摘要: Disclosed is a multi-pin electrical connector of low insertion force type comprising a male plug having pin terminals of two different kinds, and a female socket having contacts of same kind. Each pin terminal of one kind has a straight inclination extending downwards from its tip end at a relatively small angle whereas each pin terminal of the other kind has a straight inclination extending downwards from its tip end at a relatively large angle. Thus, the resultant insertion force of pin terminals of one kind reaches its peak value earlier than the resultant insertion force of pin terminals of the other kind reaches its peak value while the male plug is inserted in the female socket. To an advantage the straight inclination can be easily shaped with precision. This permits mass production of pin terminals of same insertion force characteristics.

    摘要: A fuel injector for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of internal combustion engine with an injection flow rate that changes during an injection cycle. It provides a gradual increase in fuel injection rate near the beginning of the cycle and a substantially instantaneous shut off of fuel injection at the end of the cycle. The valve includes a nozzle body with a fuel inlet and a nozzle portion which has an injection port therein, a first fuel passage for communicating the injection port with the fuel inlet, a first slidable needle valve element, a first spring for urging the first needle valve element to close the first needle valve element, a second fuel passage for communicating a back pressure chamber with the fuel inlet, an ON-OFF valve for opening and closing the second fuel passage and throttling the effective area thereof when the second fuel passage is open thereby controlling the pressure of the first back pressure chamber means.

    摘要: An original image in the form of a negative is scanned and converted into pixel data. The resultant data is compared with a predetermined threshold level value to discriminate pixels constituting the contour lines of the scanned image which are thickened to connect line gaps and form closed regions with corresponding first run-length data generated. Colors corresponding to desired tints are designated for each region and corresponding code data is associated with the run-length data to form second run-length data. The color code is converted into halftone-dot percentages and the photosensitive material is exposed to one or more color separations forming the desired tint to produce a tinted recorded image.

    摘要: A fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine of the type so-called unit injector wherein the overflow of fuel under high pressure from a plunger chamber defines the fuel injection cut-off. In order to perform the sharp cut-off, an overflow passage is increased in cross sectional area, and in order to prevent the overflow from the plunger chamber while the fuel is being charged into it, a flow control means such as a spool type directional control valve is inserted into the overflow passage so that when the fuel is being charged into the plunger chamber the communication between the overflow passage and a fuel tank may be positively interrupted. In addition, in order to prevent the fuel recharge with the resulting secondary injection, a flow control means such as a solenoid operated directional control valve is inserted into a fuel supply line communicating between a fuel delivery source and the plunger chamber such that as long as the fuel injection continues or when the fuel injection is zto be completed, the communication between the plunger chamber and the fuel delivery source may be completely cut off.

    摘要: In a fluid transmission device, a male fitting surface of a periphery of a diameter-expanded portion of a pump shell is fitted to a female fitting surface of an inner circumference of a peripheral wall portion of a cylindrical transmission cover, and a fillet weld being is formed between an end surface of the peripheral wall portion and a peripheral surface of the diameter-expanded portion along an entire circumference, thereby connecting together the pump shell and the transmission cover. An annular recess is formed in an inner circumferential surface of the peripheral wall portion to adjoin the female fitting surface on the side opposite from the fillet weld. A portion of the transmission cover corresponding to the recess constitutes an annular thin-walled portion which has a thickness smaller than the portions of the transmission cover along the opposite sides of the annular thin wall portion. Therefore, even if the diameters of the pump shell and the transmission cover are increased, the durability of the pump shell and the transmission cover can be improved by alleviating excessive stress concentration on the fillet weld between the pump shell and the transmission cover.
