摘要: Based on an offset direction which indicates whether a laser beam (RB) is offset in a direction to the right side or left side of a travelling direction contained in a motion definition statement, and the direction of a curve at a corner portion (CN) of a laser beam path (b.sub.i,b.sub.i+1), it is determined whether an inner side or outer side of the beam path at the corner is a part (PT). If the inner side of the corner is a part, an NC part program for laser machining is created upon inserting a preset escape path (EP) in the corner portion of the beam path. If the outer side of the corner is a part, an NC part program for laser machining is created in such a manner that similarly set machining conditions prevail in preset machining condition modification intervals.

摘要: A three-dimensional tool path determination method for determining at least one path out of an approach path along which a tool 11 of a machine tool having three or more controlled axes is made to approach a workpiece, and a retraction path along which the tool 11 is retracted from the workpiece after machining is completed. The three-dimensional tool path determination method includes steps of designating a prescribed tool path pattern from among a plurality of tool path patterns, which prescribed tool path pattern includes an undecided portion (coordinate values of P.sub.1, P.sub.2), entering data specifying the undecided portion of the tool path pattern, which data includes at least a target position (P.sub.e) and a distance (d.sub.1), calculating the undecided portion by using the input data and an arithmetic expression that corresponds to the designated tool path pattern, and creating NC data specifying a three-dimensional tool path by using the obtained coordinate values of the points (P.sub.1, P.sub.2).

摘要: There is disclosed a numerically controlled cutting method of cutting a curved surface SF generated by interconnecting corresponding points mi, ni (i=1, 2, . . . ) on two curved lines CV1, CV2 with a cutter BT of a milling machine having simultaneously controlled five axes or a wire electrode of a wire-cut electric discharge cutting machine. According to the numerically controlled cutting method, curve information specifying the two curved lines CV1, CV2, information on tool radius or wire radius, information on the direction of tool or wire compensation, and division information for dividing the curved lines are supplied as inputs. Using the above items of information an offset position at dividing points mi, ni, which are next to dividing points mi-1, ni-1 at which the cutter BT or wire is currently positioned, is determined. The cutter BT or wire is then moved to the offset position to cut the curved surface SF.

摘要: A pyrolytic boron nirtride double container for a source of molecular beams used in molecular beam epitaxy, wherein the transmissivity of an inner container of the pyrolytic boron nitride double container with respect to light having a wave number of 2600 cm−1 to 6500 cm−1 is 90% or less of that of an outer container. The pyrolytic boron nitride double container, which enables molecular beams to generate stably with good temperature controllability and high heat efficiency and which can be used in a stable manner, is provided through a simple process and at low cost, so that molecular beam epitaxial growth can be stabilized, quality of the epitaxial film can be improved, and even though the rise and drop in the temperature of the material melt is repeated, or even at an emergency suspension of the operation, the trouble due to breakage of the container can be prevented.
