摘要: Based on an offset direction which indicates whether a laser beam (RB) is offset in a direction to the right side or left side of a travelling direction contained in a motion definition statement, and the direction of a curve at a corner portion (CN) of a laser beam path (b.sub.i,b.sub.i+1), it is determined whether an inner side or outer side of the beam path at the corner is a part (PT). If the inner side of the corner is a part, an NC part program for laser machining is created upon inserting a preset escape path (EP) in the corner portion of the beam path. If the outer side of the corner is a part, an NC part program for laser machining is created in such a manner that similarly set machining conditions prevail in preset machining condition modification intervals.

摘要: A process and apparatus for controllably eroding the surface of hard materials such as fused quartz, glass, metals and ceramics by the bombardment of the positive ions. Focused argon ions accelerated by potentials of up to 120,000 volts and with a constant beam current are controlled in direction to cause surface erosion of a workpiece to accuracies of up to one-one hundredth of a wavelength of green light. The workpiece is moved at a controlled rate in combination with the control of the beam direction to obtain a controlled erosion pattern over the surface of the workpiece. In another embodiment, an intensity modulated beam current is used. An electron beam is directed at the workpiece in a pattern which surrounds the ion beam to prevent the building up of a positive charge on the work surface. The progress of the erosion is observed and measured by an interferometer system. The movement of the ion beam and workpiece can follow a programmed automatic sequence.

摘要: A fan control apparatus is provided for the computer equipment including a fan, a temperature sensor, and a device module (e.g. an add-in card) mounting at least two devices aligned along an air flow. The fan control apparatus determines a revolving speed of the fan for cooling each device based on an inlet temperature and a usage rate of each device. In addition, the fan control apparatus estimates an inlet temperature of a second device, which is disposed in the downstream side of a first device among at least two devices, based on an inlet temperature and a usage rate of the first device. Thus, it is possible to control the fan to cause an adequate amount of cooling air for cooling devices mounted on the device module installed in the computer equipment.

摘要: A laser beam machining method for cutting a workpiece in accordance with a machining program composed of a succession of move commands and laser output commands. An angle of a machining path is calculated on the basis of a move command under execution and a subsequent read out move command (S2, S3). The angle of the machining path is compared with a preset angle (S4), and when the angle of the machining path is more acute than the preset angle, the movement for machining based on the move command under execution is decelerated and stopped (S5). In this case, the laser output command is changed from a cutting condition to a piercing condition, to carry out a piercing operation, and when the piercing operation is completed, the movement for machining is restarted in accordance with the subsequent move command. When the movement for machining is restarted, the laser output command is changed from the piercing condition to the cutting condition in accordance with the movement for machining. Accordingly, a clean-cut acute-angle portion can be obtained by this machining.

摘要: A motion control method includes: (a) obtaining a current position and a current velocity of a control object at a current time; (b) obtaining a current acceleration based on the current position and the current velocity, wherein the current acceleration has a positive correlation with a difference between the current position and a target position as well as a negative correlation with the current velocity; (c) controlling a motor for driving the control object utilizing the current acceleration; and (d) iteratively performing the steps (a)-(c) until the control object reaches the target position. A motion trajectory planning method and a motion control device are further provided. Through the above-mentioned way, the present disclosure could realize the smooth acceleration and smooth deceleration of the motor. As a result, smooth motion trajectory, less vibration, and stable motor with less overshoot could be achieved.

The CNC apparatus (10) lowers a laser output by reducing both a pulse duty ratio and a pulse frequency in accordance with the lowering of a machining velocity when machining a corner portion. According to this method, a machining accuracy in the corner portion is improved, thermally influenced regions on the workpiece are reduced, and a surface roughness of the machined engraved surface is improved.

摘要: A laser power controlling method in which a laser output is controlled by an NC instruction as a function of an instruction regarding the moving speed of a mechanical system. The moving speed instruction is inputted to a simulator approximated to the mechanical system with a first-order or second-order function, and based upon the results operated by the simulator, a laser instruction value is generated, so that synchronism between the moving speed of the mechanical system and the laser output control is assured. Therefore, the moving speed of the mechanical system is synchronized with the power of the laser beam projected onto a workpiece to thus enhance cutting performance.

摘要: A system for projecting a spot of radiant energy includes a lamp for projecting a light spot onto a surface and includes means for providing a selection of differently sized spots. Drive means moves the light spot relative to the surface and is capable of moving the light spot at a maximum given velocity which is the same for all of the differently sized spots. Velocity output means produces a velocity signal representing the velocity of the spot and a normalized velocity signal is produced by dividing the volocity signal by the maximum given velocity. Each differently sized spot is assigned a different lamp command voltage signal and a selected one of the lamp command voltage signals is multiplied by the normalized velocity signal to produce a resultant lamp command voltage signal which energizes the lamp.
