    摘要: This invention provides a magnetic recording and reproduction apparatus that automatically cleans the head of a rotating head cylinder sufficiently. Prior to a power-off operation at step #9, based on a detection signal from a rotary encoder for detecting a rotational position of a main cam gear at step #7a, the main cam gear is inversely rotated until it reaches a position at which a cleaner head contacts the head, and is subsequently rotated forward to move tape withdrawal posts to a loading completion position. Power is turned off at step #9. Thus, automatic cleaning is provided not only when a tape cassette is inserted and ejected but also when the power is turned off. Therefore, compared to the prior art, this invention increases the opportunities of automatic cleaning to reduce the contamination of the head of the rotating head cylinder, thereby realizing excellent recording and reproduction.

    摘要: A product-sum calculation apparatus is provided for cumulatively adding up respective products of first input data and second input data. There is further provided a product-sum calculation unit integrated circuit apparatus including the product-sum calculation apparatus, and a cumulative adder. In the product-sum calculation apparatus, a barrel shifter shifts the first input data by a predetermined number of bits based on the second input data, and an adder adds the shifted data outputted from the barrel shifter and inputted through a first input terminal thereof, and data inputted through a second input terminal thereof. A register temporarily stores data outputted from the adder, outputs a stored data to the adder through the second input terminal of the adder, and outputs the stored data through an output terminal. Further, there is provided a multiplexer for selecting either one of third input data inputted through a first input terminal thereof, and data inputted through a second input terminal thereof. Accordingly, the product-sum calculation apparatus calculates a product of the first input data and the second input data, calculates a sum of a calculated product and the third input data, and outputs a calculated sum from the output terminal.

    摘要: A thermoelectric generating composite functioning apparatus used as a glow plug in a diesel engine has sintered semiconductor elements respectively formed in the shape of a bar of N-type and P-type thermoelectric semiconductor materials. The N-type and P-type semiconductor elements are provided oppositely with a gap between them, and their end portions are put in mutual contact to form a P-N junction. A low thermal conductivity insulator is filled in the interval between the N-type and the P-type semiconductor elements. The N-type and P-type semiconductor elements provided in the P-N junction state are contained through the insulator in a housing. Lead terminals connected to the N-type and P-type semiconductor elements are formed in the housing. The apparatus may provide heat to the combustion chamber, or generate electricity from the heat in the combustion chamber.
