    摘要: In a vehicle having an air cleaner for cleaning incoming intake air supplied to an engine, a stepped surface is formed on at least one of a plurality of walls of an air cleaner housing. The stepped surface is formed on an upper wall of the air cleaner housing, such that an outer step is arranged on a periphery of an inner step. The upper wall is formed into a stereoscopic shape by providing the stepped surface thereon, such that the rigidity of the upper wall is enhanced, and a sonic resonance of the upper wall can be suppressed during vehicle operation, thereby reducing intake noises. By providing the stepped surface to the upper wall of the air cleaner for reducing intake noises, and it is unnecessary to add one or more extra components to the air cleaner for reducing intake noises.

    摘要: In a rolling process, the level of rolling performed by a rolling mill for one operation is set to 1 μm to 20 μm. A magnesium substrate is rolled by rollers while being heated by a thermostatic chamber. As a result, there is manufactured a high-quality magnesium sheet which is less susceptible to influence of oxidation, which realizes a high internal loss, prevention of a drop in sensitivity, and low distortion, and which has a thickness of 30 μm to 100 μm. Further, as a result of the magnesium sheet being formed into a semi-dome shape or a dome shape, the sheet can be inexpensively manufactured as a speaker for high-tone playback. In particular, in the case of a magnesium diaphragm into which a dome section and an edge section are integrally formed, high-quality sound can be played back in a high frequency range without involvement of a drop in sensitivity.

    摘要: In a foam molding method useful in efficiently manufacturing a foam molding with high surface accuracy and a mold suitable therefor, a plurality of gas-blowing devices 24 including the following members are arranged in the bottom of a cavity 23 present in a lower die 22: valve boxes 25, gas channels 26, valve elements 27, gas flow-restricting valves 28, and other members. The gas channels 26 of the gas-blowing devices 24 are supplied with gas from a common air pump. The valve elements 27 move vertically such that openings of the gas channels 26 that arranged in the cavity are opened or closed. When the gas is supplied to the gas channels 26, the valve elements 27 are moved upward by the pressure of the gas so as to push a molding 34. The valves 28 move upward together with the valve elements 27 and then sit on valve seat sections 31 disposed in the gas channels 26 to restrict the gas to flow into the gas channels 26. The valves 28 have vent holes 32; hence, the gas is allowed to flow into the gas channels 26 although the amount of the glowing gas is small.
