A switching unit switches a supply of the dielectric fluid between the water purifying unit and the corrosion-protection-ion generating unit. A switching control unit controls the switching unit based on a conductivity of the dielectric fluid measured by a conductivity measuring unit.

摘要： A coding and decoding apparatus is constructed so that the coding side transmits coded data together with identifying information for identifying the device of decoding the coded data, and the decoding side is capable of storing a number of decoding schemes so as to perform decoding based on one of the previously stored schemes. The apparatus further has devices for storing the received tools and tool-correspondent information which numerically represents the capacities of the tools so that it can make a comparison between the decoding capacity and the processing capacities of the tools to determine the possibility of the operations of the received tools. Further, a set of the tools are hierarchized so that the coded data produced by the n-ranked tool can be decoded by the (n+1)-ranked tool. Alternatively, the tools are defined in a hierarchical manner so that the decoding tools installed in the decoding apparatus will be able to assure the minimum quality and the requested decoding process can be performed by the received decoding tool. Further, the identification code of the decoding scheme used can be transmitted as required so that the decoding scheme can be expanded by transmitting the differential information from the basic decoding scheme.

An outer peripheral part of the blade may be bent toward the suction side in such a way as to form a starting point at which an airflow starts leaking, and the radial-direction width, W, of the bent part gradually increases from the vicinity of the leading edge to the vicinity of the trailing edge. A blade tip vortex (β) generated from a blade positioned ahead relative to the rotational direction F and a separation vortex from a pressure surface of a blade positioned behind relative to the rotational direction F offset each other, so that discharge vortexes are suppressed.

摘要： A wire-electrical discharge machine infuses a processing liquid in a gap between a wire and a workpiece and processes the workpiece using predetermined processing parameters. The machine includes a processing parameter memory that stores processing parameters, a second memory that stores a relationship between nozzle height and processing energy, a processing energy determining unit that determines the processing energy, for example, during rough processing, based on the relationship, and a processing parameter changing unit that changes the processing parameters based on the processing energy. The workpiece is processed using the changed processing parameters. According to this construction, wire breakage can be prevented and the accuracy of the processed surface can be improved.

摘要： An electric discharge machining apparatus of the travelling wire or sink type includes at least one secondary electrode which is immersed in the dielectric at least during machining. A microvoltage power supply is used to create a micropotential difference between the workpiece and the secondary electrode so that the workpiece becomes a negative pole. Maintaining this arrangement both during machining and non-machining times prevents the workpiece from being subjected to positive-pole oxidation.

摘要： A video signal recording apparatus of reduced size for portability combines a video camera and helical scan video tape recorder in a single unit, in which the reduced size is obtained in part by having a tape guide drum of reduced diameter, which requires a tape wrap angle greater than the conventional 180.degree. and employs a pair of rotary tape heads that are arranged close together relative to the diametrically opposed conventional head arrangement. The timing of the heads in recording the fields of the video signals as tracks is controlled by a vertical synchronization signal having pulses that are delayed to account for the finite distance between the two rotary heads. The vertical sync signal then has a different time period for a first field than it does for a second field of one frame of the video signal. The camera has an image pickup portion that is caused to be scanned by the same synchronization signals utilized in the recording operation. This permits any horizontal overscan to occur at a time when the heads are off the tape and by adjusting the time base of the vertical sync signal the overscan can be arranged so that the portion of it is above and below the effective portion of the image pickup portion of the camera.
