    摘要: An amphora-type particulate catalyst-support having an adequately small average particle size and a low attrition index and a method for preparing an amphora-type particulate catalyst-support are disclosed, wherein the method comprises the steps of: (a) forming a mixed slurry having a solid content of 10 to 30 wt % by adding water to a mixture of 60 to 80 parts by weight of a component (A) comprising at least one component selected from the group consisting of allophane, red mud, bauxite, and laterite with 20 to 40 parts by weight of a binder (B), such as silica sol, alumina-titania, etc.,; (b) wet grinding the solid in the mixed slurry to form a slurry of finely divided solid having an average particle size of 0.6 to 2.0 .mu.m; (c) spray-drying the slurry of the finely divided solid to form spray-dried particles; and (d) calcining the spray-dried particles.The catalyst-supports can be advantageously used as a support for preparing particulated catalysts having improved properties; i.g., high catalytic activities and selectivities, a high anti-attrition property, etc., especially those which are very effective for the hydrotreating of a heavy oil, such as a vacuum reside, etc., giving a high yield of a kerosine-light oil fraction with a low hydrogen consumption and low yields of byproducts, such as cokes, asphaltenes, and the like.

    摘要: A pattern-forming material is made by halogenoacetylation of the hydroxyl group of the copolymer of hydroxystyrene, and methyl methacrylate or ethyl methacrylate copolymer. The pattern-forming material in this invention is based on a resin copolymer of hydroxystyrene which has excellent dry etching resistance properties and methyl methacrylate or hydroxy ethyl methacrylate which is transparent to deep UV radiation over a relatively wide spectral range, combined with halogenoacetyl groups as photoreactive groups. Further, as the pattern-forming materials of this invention are soluble in the various liquids described below, a resist solution can easily be prepared, and a film of the material can easily be formed by the spin coating process.

    摘要: A low and broadband shorted microstrip antenna is disclosed which is mainly applicable to a mobile body in a mobile communication system. A first grounding conductive sheet which faces a radiating conductive sheet is provided at both ends thereof with a second and a third grounding conductive sheets which are perpendicular to the first grounding conductive sheet, whereby a beam tilt characteristic of the antenna is improved. The passive element and a conductive stub are disposed atop the grounding conductive sheet. The passive element and the conductive stub face the radiating conductive element and serve to improve the impedance matching parameter of the microstrip antenna.
