    摘要: A silicone emulsion composition is disclosed which comprises specific amounts of (A) a colloidal silica-silicone core/shell material comprising (a) from 80 to 5 wt % colloidal-silica cores and (b) from 20 to 95 wt % shells comprising a specific polyorganosiloxane containing ethylenically unsaturated groups, (B) a specific polyorganohydrogensiloxane, (C) a curing catalyst, (D) an emulsifying agent, and (E) water. Also disclosed is a process for producing a silicone powder which comprises bringing the silicone emulsion composition into contact with a liquid or a gas while heating the composition at a temperature of 25.degree. C. or a higher and keeping the same in a dispersed state to thereby cure the silicone in the form of a powder. The silicone emulsion composition can give an elastomer having excellent mechanical properties upon the removal of the volatile components by heating. The particulate silicone obtained by the process from the emulsion composition has excellent mechanical strength, a small particle diameter, good uniformity in shape, and excellent dispersibility.

    摘要: A method which produces colored minute particles by suspending in an aqueous suspending medium a polymerizable monomer composition obtained by dispersing a coloring agent at least in a polymerizable monomer and polymerizing the resultant suspension is characterized in that the dispersion of the coloring agent in the polymerizable monomer is performed in the presence of a dispersing agent, the polymerizable monomer composition exhibits a viscosity of not more than 300 cP, and the suspension of the polymerizable monomer composition in the aqueous suspending medium exhibits a viscosity of not more than 100 cP. The dispersing agent is at least one resin selected from the group consisting of rosin derivatives, aromatic petroleum resins, pinene type resins, epoxy type resins, cumdrone resins, and styrene-acryl type resins.

    摘要: A polyorganosiloxane-type thermoplastic resin having excellent slidability, abrasion resistance, weatherability, impact strength, fatigue resistance and chemical resistance is disclosed. The thermoplastic resin comprises a graft copolymer (IV) obtained by graft-polymerizing at least one vinyl monomer (v) onto a modified polyorganosiloxane obtained by polymerizing 80 to 99.8% by weight of an organosiloxane (I) having the structural unit described thereinabove, 0.1 to 10% by weight of at least one graft crosslinking agent (II) containing an alkoxysilyl group, selected from the group consisting of a vinyl-type graft crosslinking agent, a mercapto-type graft crosslinking agent, an acryloyl-type crosslinking agent and a vinylphenyl-type crosslinking agent, and 0.1 to 10% by weight of a compound (III) having two alkoxysilyl groups, provided that (I)+(II)+(III)=100% by weight.

    摘要: Encoding and decoding devices which are capable of increasing the encoding and decoding speed. In arithmetic encoding, there is a possibility of encoding with high efficiency which is very close to the entropy of the information source, but the encoding and decoding time is generally longer than that in another encoding systems such as an MMR encoding system. For example, in a standard facsimile equipment, about 1.3 sec is required for encoding the picture information in an A4-size copy. In prediction encoding, a memory for storing the past reference symbols and the predicted values therefor is necessary for prediction. Since the memory capacity is generally large, a large-capacity RAM is used. The encoding time is therefore greatly dependent on the access speed of the RAM. In the present invention, a high-speed register for storing the predicted value for a special symbol pattern is provided separately from the RAM so that the predicted value of the special symbol pattern is read from this register, thereby enabling high-speed encoding.
