摘要: Dynamic RAM having memory cells, each of the memory cells having a capacitor with the electrode comprised of a first semiconductor region of a first type of conductivity formed in a substrate of second conductivity type. The first semiconductor region is formed by introducing impurities using a mask comprising (1) a nitride film which is deposited so as to define part of the shape of the capacitor. An oxide film, formed by thermal oxidation of the substrate, defines the shape of the memory cells, and each of the memory cells further have at least a second semiconductor region of a second type of conductivity formed between and under the electrodes, the shape thereof being defined by the nitride film and the oxide film that is formed by thermal oxidation.

摘要: A semiconductor integrated circuit device having a wiring line of aluminum film or aluminum alloy film covered with a silicon insulation film and connected to the semiconductor region formed on the principal surface of a single crystal silicon substrate, with a polycrystalline silicon film interposed, wherein said silicon film is a polycrystalline silicon film composed of large crystal grains which is formed by depositing in amorphous state and then heat-treating the deposited film, said polycrystalline silicon film reduces the amount of silicon atoms which separates out in said wiring line. Also said wiring line is provided with a shielding film which is disposed between said insulation film and at least the upper surface and lower surface of said wiring line and which prevents silicon atoms from separating out from said insulation film.A process for manufacturing a semiconductor integrated circuit device which comprises the steps of depositing an amorphous silicon film on the principal surface of said semiconductor region, and performing heat treatment on said silicon film, thereby converting the amorphous silicon film into a polycrystalline silicon film composed of large crystal grains.

摘要: The present invention relates to a dynamic type RAM and, more particularly, to a dynamic type RAM formed using one-element type dynamic memory cells each comprised of a data storing capacitor and an address selecting MOSFET. Divided word lines are arranged such that one divided word line intersects another at a point of discontinuity of the other divided word line adjacent to a joint of the one divided word line to the corresponding word line. This prevents generation of an array noise due to coupling capacitances, and thus improves the read margin.

摘要: A dynamic RAM having a memory cell constituted by a capacitor element, utilizing a trench or moat formed in a semiconductor substrate, and a MISFET. One of the electrodes of the capacitor element is connected to the MISFET constituting part of the memory cell at the side wall of the upper end of the moat for forming the capacitor element. This electrode is connected in self alignment with a semiconductor region which serves as either the source or drain of the MISFET.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a checkout terminal includes a lighting unit, a detection unit, a weighing unit, a reading unit, a determination unit, a storage control unit, and a lighting control unit. The lighting unit illuminates an article. The detection unit detects an article code from the article. The weighing unit measures a weight of the article. The reading unit reads out weight information and article information of the article. The determination unit determines whether or not the weight measured by the weighing unit is identical with the weight indicated by the weight information. The storage control unit stores the article information in a second storage unit, when it is determined by the determination unit that the weights are identical. The lighting control unit controls the lighting unit so as to be turned off when it is determined by the determination unit that the weights are not identical.

摘要: An article code reading device optically reads a code symbol on an article, and decodes and outputs an article code. An image pickup image part picks up an image of an area of an article, the code symbol of which is read by the article code reading device, and outputs pickup image data. An article registration is executed by searching an article data file for a corresponding price for the article, and an extraction process extracts an exterior characteristic of an article from the pickup image data outputted by the pickup image part. A consistency is determined between a first data obtained based on the extraction process and a second data obtained based on an output from the article code reading device, and an alarm is generated when it there is not a consistency between the first data and the second data.

摘要: A scanner according to an embodiment includes a housing, an imaging device provided in the housing, and a light source. The housing has an imaging window. The imaging window is sectioned by an upper side portion, a lower side portion, and a pair of side portions. The lower side portion is spaced apart from the upper side portion. The pair of side portions connect respective ends of the upper side portion and the lower side portion. The imaging device picks up, via the imaging window, an image of a reading target present in a reading area formed on the outer side of the housing through the imaging window and outputs image data of the reading target. The light source is located on the outer side of the reading area and arranged along each of the side portions of the housing and irradiates illumination light on the reading area.
