    摘要: The invention relates to a polarization compensating element (PCE) for a liquid crystal, e.g. liquid crystal on silicon (LCoS), display system manufactured using a linearly photo-polymerizable polymer (LPP) for orienting a photo-polymerizable liquid crystal polymer (LCP) film. To decrease the reflection, polarization conversion, and interference events in an LPP/LCP assembly the ΔN birefringence value of the LCP material is minimized. Dielectric coatings are added at various locations throughout the assembly for minimizing the amount of reflection, polarization conversion, and interference effects and for suppressing spatial retardance ripples.

    摘要: A digitally controlled oscillator device includes a programming input, a selection input and an oscillator core with a first capacitive element which is frequency determining and programmable. The first capacitive element is coupled to the programming input that receives a first data word by which an oscillating frequency of the oscillator device is programmed with a predetermined frequency step size. The oscillator device further includes a selection unit for selecting a mode which is coupled to the selection input that receives a mode selection signal. The mode is selectable from a plurality of modes depending on the mode selection signal and each mode from the plurality of modes is characterized by a predetermined frequency step size. The digitally controlled oscillator device also includes a deattenuation amplifier.

    摘要: A vacuum valve comprises a conical sealing surface arranged at a valve body, a valve disk at which a conical sealing surface is arranged, and a sealing ring having a first sealing surface and a second sealing surface. The valve disk, the valve body and the sealing ring are made of metal at least in the areas of the sealing surfaces. The valve disk is constructed so as to be curved or angled considered in axial section through the center and encloses an angle of less than 90° with the closing direction in the unloaded state at least in a radial outer portion adjoining the sealing surface. The valve disk has an elasticity such that a displacement of the radial outer edge of the valve disk relative to a point in the center of the valve disk of at least 0.1% of the diameter of the valve disk in direction of the center axis of the valve disk is bought about in the closed position of the valve disk relative to the open position of the valve disk by an elastic deformation of the valve disk.

The adders in the first modulation stage process a low-significance component and a delayed more significant component of the data word and provide a result word and a carry at their respective outputs. The low-significance component and the more significant component of the result word are provided to the further modulation stages with an unvarying delay. A bit stream is derived from a carry from final instances of the at least two adders in the first modulation stage and in the further modulation stage respectively.
