    摘要: The object is to provide an image viewing system that allows easy image viewing with reduced eyestrain, whether for wide-angle or enlarged viewing. The rotation of the viewer's head is detected by means of piezo-electric vibration gyroscopes 405 and 406, and the coefficient for setting the amount of change in the camera system's image shooting direction with reference to the detected direction is changed in accordance with the focal length of the camera system's zoom lens systems. Moreover, the amount of change in the image shooting direction may be changed manually by means of sensitivity setting lever 213 mounted on HMD 2.

    摘要: An image taken by a mobile camera is displayed on a head-mounted display provided with an acceleration sensor to detect movement of the observer's head, and the size of the image viewed by the observer wearing the display is varied according to the movement of the observer's head. For varying the image size, the camera is equipped with a zoom lens to change the size of shooting area, or alternatively, the display is equipped with a zoom lens as the eyepiece to enlarge or reduce the size of the displayed image. An image showing the appearance of the camera is displayed being superimposed on the image taken by the camera in order to facilitate the control of the camera by the observer.

    摘要: A movable stage utilizing an electromechanical transducer. An actuator as a drive source thereof is composed of piezoelectric elements, drive member fixed thereto and a movable member friction-coupled with the drive member. When a drive pulse is applied to the piezoelectric element to cause it to show reciprocal displacements at different rates in the thickness direction, the movable member frictionally coupled with the drive member moves in the predetermined direction to move the movable table coupled with the movable member in the predetermined direction. The movable stage comprising the movable table moving in the two axes or three axes can be constituted by providing the actuator in the two axes or three axes crossing with each other.

    摘要: An automatic focus adjusting apparatus of a camera calculates amount of defocus of an object, and repeatedly calculates the speed of the image plane of the object based on the amount of defocus. When releasing operation of the camera is started, image plane speed of the object at the time of exposure is estimated by using a secondary curve based on the speed of the image plane, and the lens is driven based on the data thereof. Since the image plane speed of the object is estimated by using the secondary curve equation, correction of the amount of defocus can be accurately done regardless of the speed of movement of the object.

    摘要: An analyzing device mixes a sample liquid with a reagent by rotation of the analyzing device about a rotation center to generate a centrifugal force. A measurement cell is formed so as to extend in a direction along which the centrifugal force is applied, and a capillary area to which the sample liquid is sucked by a capillary force is formed on one of the side walls of the measurement cell, the side walls being arranged in a rotational direction. The capillary area extends from the outer periphery position to the inner periphery of the measurement cell, thereby reducing the size of the analyzing device. Further, the sample liquid in the measurement cell is sucked to the capillary area by slowing or stopping a rotation, and then the rotation is accelerated to return the sample liquid in the capillary area to the measurement cell.
