摘要: Eye refractmeter using infrared rays in which the target projecting optical system includes an aperture disc having a semicircular apertures disposed within a circle corresponding to the pupil of the patient's eye with chord portions thereof opposed to each other with a spacing therebetween. The observing optical system includes a disc having a slot located at a position corresponding to the space between the apertures. The apertures and the slots are located in conjugate with the patient's pupil with respect to the objective lens.

摘要: Apparatus wherein an identical field of view of an object to-be-observed is imaged in two directions different from each other and wherein the image in one of the directions and the image in the other direction are reproduced and displayed as a left eye image and a right eye image respectively, thereby to perform the stereoscopic version of the object to-be-observed, comprising means to indicate one mark on each of the left eye image and the right eye image, and means to move both the marks to any desired positions on the respective images. The mark moving means has the function of interlockingly moving both the marks by equal distances in the same direction on the respective images, and the function of singly moving only the mark on one of the images as the position of the mark on the other image is kept fixed, and it is provided with means to control the change-over between the interlockingly moving state and the singly moving state. In moving the marks to points on the respective images as correspond to desired points on the object to-be-observed, both the marks may be interlockingly moved until the mark on the other image arrives at the desired point, and subsequently, with the mark position on the other image kept fixed, only the mark on the one image may be singly moved to the desired point.

摘要: An image formation apparatus is configured such that a process cartridge can be detachably attached through an opening, at which an openable cover is provided. A sheet accommodated in a sheet feed tray arranged below the process cartridge is to be upwardly fed along a first sheet feed path, while a second feed path is defined by the bottom face of the process cartridge and a path composing member oppositely arranged below the process cartridge. An opened portion is formed at a position, on the opening side, where the second feed path is connected to the first feed path. A first drying agent is arranged in the second feed path. An end of the first drying agent or a member connected to the first drying agent is exposed to outside of the second feed path through the opened portion so as to be visually recognizable when the cover is opened.

摘要: An exhaust-gas purifying apparatus includes an outer cylinder, a plurality of cylinder-shaped supports, and a catalytic layer. The cylinder-shaped supports are disposed in the outer cylinder, and have an outer peripheral surface and an inner peripheral surface. At least two of the neighboring cylinder-shaped supports contact with each other with the outer peripheral surfaces. The catalytic layer is loaded on at least one of the outer peripheral surface and inner peripheral surface of the cylinder-shaped supports. At least one of the cylinder-shaped supports has a ring-shaped cross-section with a cut-off, and is disposed in the outer cylinder in such an elastically deformed state that it expands in the centrifugal direction. Thus, the exhaust-gas purifying apparatus not only shows a high exhaust-gas purifying ability, but also is good in terms of the assemblage easiness. Moreover, the exhaust-gas purifying apparatus exhibits improved misfire resistance.

摘要: An evaporated fuel leak detector detects leakage of an evaporated fuel generated in a fuel tank. The detector includes: a differential pressure valve, a pump for sucking a detection port side to reduce pressure on a fuel tank side, and pressure detection means for detecting pressure on a detection port side. The valve includes a detection port connecting to a fuel tank side, an atmosphere port opened to atmosphere, a pressure chamber and a valve member displaceable in accordance with differential pressure between the detection port and the pressure chamber for connecting and disconnecting a connection between the detection port and the atmosphere port. The valve member disconnects between the detection port and the atmosphere port in a case where pressure of the pressure chamber becomes larger than pressure of the detection port by a predetermined pressure.

摘要: A metallic ring engages with radially outer peripheries of a first flange portion of a resinous casing and a second flange portion of a housing. One of the resinous casing and the housing accommodates a solenoid actuator. The metallic ring is bent so that a pair of annular hooking pieces is formed. The annular hooking pieces opposes to each other such that the annular hooking pieces interpose the first flange portion and the second flange portion from both sides in an axial direction, so that a connecting end surface of the resinous casing is crimped and fixed to a connecting end surface of the housing. A manufacturing method for the actuator includes the following steps. The metallic ring is set in a molding die for molding the resinous casing. The first flange portion is injection molded using one of the pair of annular hooking pieces as a part of the molding die in an injection molding process.
