    摘要: A curable organopolysiloxane composition comprising (A) a linear organopolysiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups and at least one aryl group per molecule, (B) a branched organopolysiloxane having at least one alkenyl group and at least one aryl group per molecule, and having siloxane units represented by the general formula: RsiO2/3, (C) a linear organopolysiloxane with both terminal ends of the molecular chain blocked by silicon bonded hydrogen atoms having at least one aryl group per molecule, and (D) a hydrosilation reaction catalyst, and a semiconductor device whose semiconductor elements are coated with the cured product of the above-described composition. The curable organopolysiloxane composition shows low viscosity, excellent filling properties, and excellent curability that cures to form a soft cured product of a large refractive index, high light transmittance, and high adhesion to substrates, as well as the semiconductor device shows superior reliability.

    摘要: Aqueous suspensions of cross-linked silicone particles comprising: (A) cross-linked silicone particles with an average particle size of from 0.1 to 500 μm, (B) N-acyl-, N-hydrocarbon taurines and/or their salts, and (C) water, aqueous emulsions of oil containing cross-linked silicone particles comprising: (A) cross-linked silicone particles with an average particle size of from 0.1 to 500 μm, (D) oil, (B) N-acyl-, N-hydrocarbon taurines and/or their salts, and (C) water, with component (A) contained in droplets of component (D) dispersed in water, and cosmetic raw materials comprising said aqueous suspensions or said aqueous emulsions. The suspensions and emulsions are characterized by superior stability and by low environmental impact and minimal effects on the human body. In addition, they are extremely useful as cosmetic raw materials because of their superior cosmetics functionality such as wetness and smoothness.

    摘要: Stable vinyl copolymer emulsions are capable of forming strongly water repellent and highly water resistant films and coatings, and can be used as paint or coating additives. They are highly compatible with paint and coating compositions. The vinyl copolymer emulsions are produced by emulsion polymerizing (A) 50-99.9 weight percent of a vinyl monomer, (B) 0.1-50 weight percent of a branched organosilicon compound bearing a radically polymerizable organic group, where the sum of components (A) and (B) is 100 weight percent, and (C) a radically polymerizable surfactant used at 0.1-20 weight parts per 100 weight parts of the total amount of components (A) and (B).

    摘要: Spherical crosslinked organic particles exhibit a good dispersibility in thermoplastic resins, thermosetting resins, paints, coatings, cosmetics, rubbers, and toners and carriers employed in electrostatic development. Highly efficient methods for preparing these crosslinked organic particles are provided. Suspensions of crosslinked organic particles have excellent handling properties, and are highly blendable with other components. Highly efficient methods for preparing these suspensions are also provided. The spherical crosslinked organic particles have an average particle size of 0.1-500 &mgr;m, and can be prepared by emulsifying in water using an emulsifying agent, a fluid composition containing (A) an organic compound that has at least 2 aliphatically unsaturated bonds in each molecule, (B) a silicon-containing organic compound that has at least 2 silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms in each molecule, (C) an hydrosilylation reaction catalyst, crosslinking the fluid composition by carrying out an hydrosilylation reaction, and thereafter removing water.
