The first and second therapeutic members 200, 300 have motion conversion means 400 coupled thereto for converting the pivotal movement of the pivotal lever 100 into the movement of the first and second therapeutic members 200, 300 toward and away from each other. The first and second therapeutic members 200, 300 grip the shoulder of the person when moved toward each other and release the shoulder from the gripping action when moved away from each other to thereby cause the members to simulate the gripping and kneading movement of the acupressurist.

摘要: An upright electric cleaning device includes a floor suction tool formed with a long suction opening on the bottom surface thereof. A rotating brush holding chamber holds a rotating brush that extends to this long suction opening. A suction opening leading to the main cleaning device unit is formed toward one end of the rear wall of the rotating brush holding chamber. A rib, formed on the upper section of the rotating brush holding chamber, extends along the length of the rotating brush, near the rotation path of the rotating brush. An air current path is formed to take dust drawn up by the rotating brush and stopped by the rib and suck it into the suction opening leading to the main cleaning device unit. The air current path is shaped so that its cross section is smaller at an end of the air current path remote from the suction opening than it is near the suction opening to increase flow speed at the remote end. In one embodiment, an opening to the outside is formed at the remote end of the air current path to enhance air flow toward the suction opening. In a further embodiment, the enhanced air flow if further improved by venting exhaust air from the main cleaning device into the opening to positively improve air flow.

摘要: A liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal display panel including a signal side substrate having an arrangement of a plurality of signal electrodes, a scanning side substrate positioned opposite to the signal side substrate and having an arrangement of a plurality of scanning electrodes crossing the plurality of signal electrodes, a liquid crystal layer positioned between the signal side substrate and the scanning side substrate, and a signal side driving circuit and a scanning side driving circuit for applying driving pulse voltage signals for displaying data to the plurality of signal electrodes and the plurality of scanning electrodes, respectively for driving these electrodes. When data is displayed, at least one of the driving pulse voltage signals is provided with a correction pulse voltage signal such that the effective voltage value of each part of the liquid crystal display panel attains an optimum level. The correction is achieved by adjusting the pulse width of the correction pulse voltage signal. As a result, unevenness in display quality may be improved without crosstalk.

摘要: A fabrication method of a plastic-molded lead component is provided, in which leads are aligned at a fine pitch of approximately 100 .mu.m or less with a high accuracy, a simplified process sequence, and a low cost. First, a template having opened V-grooves is prepared. The V-grooves extend along a straight line and are aligned in parallel at a fixed pitch. Second, wire pieces are placed in the respective grooves of the template. Third, the placed pieces of the wire pieces are aligned in parallel on the template at a same pitch as that of the grooves. Fourth, a molding compound is supplied onto the template with or without the use of a mold to bury the aligned wire pieces placed in the grooves. Fifth, the molding compound supplied onto the template is cured to form an encapsulation plastic on the template. The wire pieces placed in the grooves are encapsulated by the encapsulation plastic in such a way that both ends of the wire pieces are exposed from opposite sides of the encapsulation plastic. The encapsulated wire pieces serve as leads. Finally, the template is removed from tie encapsulated wire pieces and the encapsulation plastic. The template is preferably formed by a semiconductor material such as silicon.
