摘要: The optical fiber connector of the present invention includes a housing having a ferrule receiving passageway and a lens receiving portion which is disposed on the front end portion of this ferrule receiving passageway. A central axis is coaxial with the central axis of the ferrule receiving passageway. A spherical lens is fastened to the lens receiving portion and a ferrule is inserted into the ferrule receiving passageway from the rear side and is incorporated with an optical fiber whose front end surface is perpendicular to the central axis. A transparent block having a refractive index that is substantially the same as the refractive indices of the lens and optical fiber is disposed between the lens and the ferrule so that this block contacts the lens, the ferrule, and the optical fiber. A refractive index matching agent having a refractive index substantially the same as the refractive indices of the lens and optical fiber is applied around the contact point between the lens and the block and around the contact surface between the ferrule and the block. The thickness of the block in the direction of beam transmission is set to be the same as the distance to the focal point from the end surface of the lens.

摘要: An opening and closing member control system includes a rotation sensing device, which outputs a pulse signal synchronously to a movement of a window glass, and a controller, which senses pinching of an object by an opening and closing member based on the pulse signal. The controller has leaning stored data Δωm based on the pulse signal. The controller computes a rotational speed difference Δω at a current position of the window glass based on the pulse signal while the window glass is driven in a closing direction. The controller computes a difference between the rotational speed difference Δω and leaning stored data Δωm in such a manner that the controller determines whether the pinching of the object based on a comparison between the difference and a pinching determining threshold value β.

摘要: When a conventional semiconductor container opening/closing apparatus opens a lid of a semiconductor container, foreign particles enter into the container from outside through a gap between the container and a wall surface of the container opening/closing apparatus and adhere to a wafer in the container. An apparatus is provided to reduce the number of foreign particles adhering to the wafer by preventing foreign particles from entering into the container at the time of opening the container by the opening/closing apparatus. To achieve this, a velocity-differential pressure ratio obtained by dividing the maximum velocity at the time of opening the lid of the container in a vertical direction to an opening of the container, by the differential pressure between the inside pressure and the outside pressure of said semiconductor manufacturing apparatus, is set to be 0.06 ((m/s) Pa) or less.

摘要: A foldable accommodating box includes a floor having a sidewall accommodating pocket, a pair of end walls pivotally supported on the floor, and a pair of sidewalls capable of being accommodated in the sidewall accommodating pocket in a mutually piled state. Each of the sidewalls includes a wall plate formed into a right-angled quadrilateral shape, a frame plate secured at right angles to an outer surface of an outer periphery of the wall plate, and a plurality of metal bars combined in a lattice shape and secured to the wall plate and the frame plate. The frame plate is provided with a notch for ensuring that when the sidewalls are piled on each other in an embraced manner so that their outer surfaces are opposed to each other, they are piled on each other with the frame plates partially adjoining each other on inner and outer sides. Thus, it is possible to prevent a portion of an accommodated member from protruding, and the sidewall can be constructed to have a sufficient strength, while avoiding an increase in weight. Moreover, it is possible to prevent an increase in thickness of the pair of sidewalls.
