摘要: An antenna device including a first Planar Inverted F Antenna (PIFA) operating at a first frequency and a second PIFA operating at a second frequency that is higher than the first frequency and disposed in a state in which it is insulated from the first PIFA. The antenna device has an antenna element in which a first short-circuit lead wire and a second short-circuit lead wire are coupled to a ground terminal provided on a substrate, a first feeding lead wire is coupled to a feeding terminal provided on a substrate via first matching circuit and a second feeding lead wire is coupled to a feeding terminal provided on the substrate via a second matching circuit. Thus, an antenna device which has a high degree of freedom for adjusting characteristics corresponding to a plurality of frequency bands can be realized.

摘要: An antenna apparatus and a portable wireless device using the same are disclosed, in which a coupling between antenna elements is reduced and an isolation property is improved even when frequencies of antenna elements are close or overlapped. The antenna apparatus includes a ground board, a first antenna element corresponding to a first frequency band, a second antenna element corresponding to a second frequency band in the vicinity of, or overlapped with the first frequency band, a first power feeding part connecting the ground board to the first antenna element and a second power feeding part connecting the ground board to the second antenna element, in which the first antenna element is arranged in a direction at an angle of an integer multiple of 90 degrees with respect to a long edge of the ground board, and the second antenna element is arranged in parallel with the long edge of the ground board.

摘要: The disclosed is a downsized and power saving antenna duplexer. The antenna duplexer includes: diplexer; first surface acoustic wave filter to transmit/receive low channel frequency band signals; first phase shift circuit to match the transmission phase with the reception phase of first surface acoustic wave filter; second surface acoustic wave filter to transmit/receive high channel frequency band signals; second phase shift circuit to match the transmission phase with the reception phase of second surface acoustic wave filter. Diplexer, first phase shift circuit and second phase shift circuit are formed in a monolithic structure in package that includes surface acoustic wave filters. The configuration can provide the antenna duplexer with a compact size, a lower current consumption and a highly efficient performance.

摘要: A high-frequency switch having two input terminals and two output terminals of which a broad pass band is required has (i) a circuit board that has two input electrodes along one side and two output electrodes along another side, and (ii) four PIN diodes mounted on this circuit board. Each side of the quadrangle made by connecting the input electrodes and the output electrodes is not parallel to the corresponding side of the quadrangle made by connecting electrodes for mounting the PIN diodes. Each side and the corresponding side form an angle other than 180°. This structure can provide a high-frequency switch capable of reducing a transmission loss in the paths and facilitating impedance matching.

摘要: A laminated high frequency device includes a laminated body including plural magnetic sheets having relative permeabilities larger than 1, inductor patterns for forming plural inductors in the laminated body, and capacitor patterns forming a capacitor. The capacitor patterns are opposed to each other about another sheet of the laminated body. The inductors have large inductances without thickening of the magnetic sheet or thinning of the inductor patterns providing a large conductor loss. This arrangement reduces a size of the laminated high frequency device while providing isolation between the inductors.

摘要: A radio frequency (RF) hybrid switch module includes an antenna duplexer integrated with a surface acoustic wave (SAW) filter used in a mobile communication device such as a cellular phone. The switch module handles a transmitted signal and received signal of different frequency bands. A parasitic inductance due to a mounting of the SAW filter is reduced, so that an attenuation characteristic at a low frequency of the SAW filter is improved. The RF hybrid switch module includes: a dividing circuit; a switching circuit; a low pass filter (LPF); an electrode for forming at least a portion of the dividing circuit, switching circuit, and the LPF; a laminated body including a dielectric layer having the electrode formed thereon; a SAW filter which is mounted on the laminated body, corresponds to plural frequency bands, and has a grounding port; a diode mounted on the laminated body for forming a portion the switching circuit, a grounding electrode formed in the laminated body, and a via-conductor directly connecting the grounding port of the SAW filter.

摘要: The present invention relates to an antenna mainly used in a cellular phone or the like and to a communication terminal using it. It is hence an object thereof to realize an antenna having a high radiation efficiency, a wide adjustable range of the impedance of the antenna, and a capability of matching with an RF circuit by the structure itself without using a matching circuit. The number of structural parameters for adjusting the impedance of the antenna increases. To achieve the object, the antenna in the communication terminal of the present invention has a radiation element wound spirally around an insulating core in the winding direction inverted at an arbitrary position. The antenna is hence capable of adjusting the impedance, and as a result, the number of structural parameters of the antenna increases, and the adjustable range of the impedance of the antenna is expanded.

摘要: The present invention relates to a surface acoustic wave filter used in frequency filter of portable telephone and other mobile communication device, and is intended to realize a surface acoustic wave filter capable of obtaining a stable filter characteristic even in the event of input of a large signal. The invention includes resonators (5) to (8) formed on a piezoelectric substrate (3), through-holes (12) provided near the resonators (5) to (8), and a conductive material (13) filling up the through-holes (12), in which the through-holes (12) filled up with the conductive material (13) are electrically grounded. In this constitution, by the through-holes (12) provided near the resonators (5) to (8) and filled up with the conductive material (13), the heat generated in the resonators (5) to (8) when a large signal is applied to the input terminal (1) can be released, so that a stable filter characteristic may be maintained if a large signal is applied.
