    摘要: Apparatus for dispensing toner into a developing unit of a xerographic-copying machine is disclosed. The dispenser comprises a hopper having sidewalls provided by a pair of resilient members whose lower ends engage the periphery of a rotatable fluteddispensing shaft located at and forming the bottom of the hopper. The resilient members function to seal the lower portion of the hopper, meter the amount of toner carried from the hopper when the fluted-dispensing shaft is rotated, and clean the toner from the toner-carrying grooves or channels of the fluted-dispensing shaft. Mechanism is provided for indicating when the amount of toner in the hopper has been reduced to a predetermined minimum amount.

    摘要: An ultrasonic mixing reactor configured for mixing of plant nutrients for greater absorption using cavitation. The reactor includes a venturi nozzle fluidly connected to a nozzle device having at least one annular shaped plate comprised of a plurality of apertures constructed and arranged to create cavitation. The nozzle device is fluidly coupled to a first ultrasonic reactor having a plurality of variable frequency ultrasonic transducers mounted within the first ultrasonic reactor for generating acoustic cavitation of the bulk mixed plant nutrients. The first ultrasonic transducer is fluidly connected to a second ultrasonic reactor having a plurality of variable frequency ultrasonic transducers mounted within the second ultrasonic reactor for generating acoustic cavitation of the bulk mixed plant nutrients. The second ultrasonic reactor discharge is fluidly coupled to a plate static mixer constructed and arranged to create hydrodynamic mixing.
