Abstract: A backpack type irrigation apparatus having a backpack frame, a pump attached to the frame, an internal combustion engine serving as a driving source for the pump, and a discharge hose connected to a discharge port of the pump. A throttle lever of the internal combustion engine may be attached to the backpack frame. With this arrangement, the pump and the engine can be moved together with the discharge hose, and also a suction hose can be moved. Accordingly, the water-supply range is enlarged. Also, the discharge amount can be adjusted by operating the throttle lever while driving the pump.

Abstract: A power sprayer is disclosed herein. The power sprayer includes a support frame configured to mount to a back of a user, a liquid reservoir affixed to the support frame, and a fluid distribution wand hydraulically coupled to the liquid reservoir and configured to distribute the volume of liquid from the liquid reservoir. The power sprayer may further include a compressed air assembly affixed to the support frame. The compressed air assembly may include a compressed air tank and a pressure regulator. The compressed air assembly may be pneumatically coupled with the liquid reservoir and configured to internally pressurize a volume of liquid in the liquid reservoir with compressed air from the compressed air tank and via the pressure regulator and a plurality of valves. The power sprayer may be configured for autonomous mobility independent of an air compressor.

The housing body is configured to be carried and supported by an operator of the hand held airless fluid dispensing device during operation. The fluid container is supported by the housing body. The reciprocating piston fluid pump is coupled to the housing body and comprises at least two pumping chambers configured to be actuated out of phase by at least one piston. The primary drive element is coupled to the housing body and connected to the reciprocating piston fluid pump to actuate the at least one piston. The spray tip is connected to an outlet of at least one of the pumping chambers.

Abstract: A multi-container manual-pump-operated backpack sprayer including an open-topped backpack enclosure, a plurality (preferably three) modular liquid containers removably seated in the enclosure, a hand-lever-operated pump/accumulator combination, and a user-controllable manifold for selecting a particular chemical from the containers for administration through a spray wand. Chemical is carried to the pressure chamber by manually pumping. The pump draws liquid from a manifold-selected supply container outward through tubes to the manifold, which has a console of valves. Separate return tubes are provided for each chemical from the manifold back to the containers of origin, and the manifold allows convenient flushing of each chemical back to its container of origin. This ensures that chemicals are not mixed or cross-contaminated and avoids waste since all residual is returned back to its respective container. The manifold is conveniently carried at the hip for ease of access.
