Abstract: A low-carbon emission mineral casting material and a manufacturing method thereof, and an equipment including a low-carbon emission mineral casting are provided. The low-carbon emission mineral casting material includes a bonding agent, a first aggregate, and an additive agent. The bonding agent includes one or more of silicate, aluminate, or iron-aluminate. A first particle diameter of the first aggregate is less than or equal to 15 mm. The low-carbon emission mineral casting material provided by the present application has better heat resistance, lower thermal conductivity, lower expansion coefficient, and better shock-absorbing performance than traditional casting material.

Abstract: Class C fly ash-based cementitious materials, concretes, and related techniques are disclosed. In accordance with some embodiments, an activated class C fly ash-based cementitious material may be produced by intergrinding class C fly ash (e.g., classified to remove quartz and/or other contaminants and, thus, increase the reactive materials present), an activator, sodium citrate, borax, and a polycarboxylate material. The class C fly ash may have an amorphous glass content of about 60 wt % or more, a calcium oxide (CaO2) content of about 20 wt % or more, and a quartz content of about 10 wt % or less. The activator may be a chemical which reacts with class C fly ash to form strätlingite structures therein when introduced with water. In some cases, the cementitious material may be provided as an all-in-one powder blend. In some cases, techniques disclosed herein may be utilized in providing a fast-setting flowable fill material.

Abstract: Cement compositions containing a hydraulic cement, a synthetic phyllosilicate (e.g. Laponite®), and silica flour. The cement compositions may optionally include other additives such as an expandable agent, a defoamer, and a fluid loss controller. Cement slurries and wellbore cements made therefrom are also specified. The inclusion of the synthetic phyllosilicate has enhanced the mechanical strength, improved the density homogeneity, as well as decreased the permeability of the wellbore cement, making it suitable for cementing oil and gas wells under high pressure and high temperature (HPHT) conditions.

Abstract: The present invention relates to improved concrete elements, particularly to self-prestressed, high-performance concrete elements (SP-HPC elements); to cementitious compositions suitable, for producing such concrete elements; to methods of manufacturing such concrete elements and such cementitious compositions; to the use of specific components in concrete elements and cementitious mixtures. The compositions and elements described herein comprise an effective amount of expansive agents in combination with superabsorbent polymers (SAP) and shrinkage reducing admixtures (SRA), and optional further components as defined in the claims. The present invention further provides for improved tendons, suitable for SP-HPC elements.

Abstract: There is provided a Ultra-high performance glass concrete (UHPGC) including between 300 and 1000 kg/m3 of cement, between 0 and 1400 kg/m3 of glass sand (GS), between 0 and 300 kg/m3 of reactive pozzolanic material, between 150 and 900 kg/m3 of glass powder (GP), between 0 and 600 kg/m3 of fine glass powder (FGP), between 5 and 60 kg/m3 of superplasticizer, between 50 and 300 kg/m3 of fiber; and, between 130 and 275 kg/m3 of water, wherein the content of GP is of at least 3 wt % of the UHPGC, and/or the content of GS is of at least 19 wt % of the UHPGC and/or the content of FGP is of at least 0.5 wt % of the UHPGC.

Abstract: A seismic steel tubular column with internal local restraint and filled with high strengthen compound concrete containing normal-strength demolished concrete lumps, and a construction process. The seismic column includes a steel tube (1), high-strength fresh concrete (2), normal-strength demolished concrete lumps (3), horizontal stirrups (4), and longitudinal erection bars (5). The horizontal stirrups (4) are arranged at upper and lower ends inside the steel tube (1). The high-strength fresh concrete (2) is poured and the normal-strength demolished concrete lumps (3) are put alternately inside the steel tube (1). A compressive strength of the high-strength fresh concrete (2) is 30˜90 MPa greater than that of the normal-strength demolished concrete lumps (3).
