    摘要: A conductive polymer composition which can be homogeneously dissolved in a solvent and can form a smooth film. The conductive polymer composition is a conductive polymer composition comprising a polymer compound (A) and a π-conjugated polymer (β), wherein the polymer compound (A) is a polymer compound obtained by polymerizing 10 to 50% by mol of a monomer (a-1) having a sulfonic acid group or a sulfonate group, 10 to 90% by mol of a monomer (a-2) having chelating ability and 0 to 70% by mol of other monomer (a-3), and the π-conjugated polymer (β) is a π-conjugated polymer obtained by polymerizing at least one monomer selected from monomers represented by the following formulas (I) to (III).

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method of synthesizing poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene), PEDOT in a reaction medium, an acid, an oxidant and an aqueous polyelectrolyte, and compositions thereof. The method is non-stoichiometric and provides no by-products, except water, or solid waste requiring post treatment. The method provides high yields of a composition that exhibits high conductivity.

    摘要: Disclosed is a process for purifying monomers of Formula (II): wherein R1 and R2 are independently selected from alkyl, substituted alkyl, aryl, substituted aryl, alkoxy, substituted alkoxy, and halogen; and R′ is selected from hydrogen, alkyl, substituted alkyl, aryl, substituted aryl, alkoxy, substituted alkoxy, and halogen. After the monomer is synthesized, it is purified by column chromatography using neutral alumina and hexane as an eluent. The resulting product can also be further recrystallized using isopropanol, hexane, heptane, or toluene. Polymers formed from the purified monomer exhibit higher mobility and increased reproducibility of the mobility.
