    摘要: This invention concerns remote sensor networks, and particularly energy management for wireless sensor networks. In a first aspect the invention is a wireless sensor node specified to operate for a given lifetime, including an onboard computer system and a set of one or more associated sensors. The computer system operates to periodically sample data from each sensor of the set of associated sensors, and to store a multi-state model representing one or more phenomena described by the collected data. And, the computer system operates to calculate a value associated with movement of the phenomena between the states of the multi-state model, and to adjust the rate of sampling of one or more of the set of associated sensors depending on the calculated value. In other aspects the invention is a network of sensor nodes and a method of operation.

    摘要: A method for determining operating stress on a component during operation includes recording measured values for predefined measurement variables not equal to the operating stress on the component to be determined, during operation of the component for at least n≧2 predefined different operating modes, determining m≧2 and m≦n effect operands W1 to Wm, in dependence on the measured values for each operating mode, recording a measured value of operating stress after operating the component for n operating modes, and setting up and solving an equation system having n equations to obtain m weighting factors a1 to am weighting the m effect operands. A sum of weighted effect operands for each operating mode is equal to the measured value of the operating stress recorded for the operating mode. A calculation rule determining the operating stress during operation of the component uses the weighting factors.

    摘要: A vehicle engine speed display device is provided with an engine speed detection unit which detects an engine speed, an engine speed display unit which displays an engine speed, and a display control unit which controls the engine speed display unit on the basis of the detected engine speed. The display control unit determines whether a phase of a gear shift operation is an inertia phase when gear shift control of an automatic transmission is executed, and sets display responsiveness of a tachometer with respect to the detected engine speed higher than display responsiveness to be set when the phase is not the inertia phase, when the phase of the gear shift operation is determined to be the inertia phase.

    摘要: The invention detects foreign objects FO near a primary coil 100 of an induction charger. A sensors 111 of a sensor array 110 output sensing signals in response to magnetically coupling the alternating magnetic field 103 produced by the primary coil. A controller 165 connected to each sensor 111 scans the sensing signals and determines whether there is a foreign object perturbing the magnetic field 103 near a sensor. The magnetic field has a spatial distribution that varies by location across the primary coil area. Each sensor has a magnetic field sensing sensitivity that is inversely proportional to the magnetic intensity of the magnetic field produced by the primary coil at a location of the sensor, to reduce the collective dynamic range of the signals, thereby contributing to maintaining a high accuracy in signal sampling. A reference sensor coil 155 compensates for magnetic field drift of the primary coil.
