Abstract: A test and measurement instrument includes a first input port and a second input port that receive a first input signal modulated according to a first clock signal and a second input signal modulated according to a second clock signal, respectively. The first clock signal and the second clock signal may be asynchronous. The instrument also includes a phase reference that generates clock data for the second clock signal. The instrument includes a processor that determines time bases for the input signals that comprise different rates based on the received and/or generated clock data. The instrument also includes a display coupled to the processor. The display concurrently displays the first input signal in a first graticule according to the first time base and the second input signal in a second graticule according to the second time base.

Abstract: A wireless communication system that includes a base station and one or more terminals carries out wireless data communication by use of a first frequency band. In addition to the first frequency band, one or more frequency bands different from the first frequency band for the wireless data transmission by the one or more terminals can be allocate by the base station, where the control signal at the first frequency band indicate the location of the one or more frequency bands which can be used.

Abstract: Provided is a system for synchronizing time sources within a protection zone of a digital power substation. The system includes a global time source, a processing communication network, an electronic, and a process unit. The process unit includes a time source configured to receive and process data packets, which include a first time signal and first time quality from the global time source and the second time signal and second time quality from the electronic device. A time source of the process unit synchronizes with a protection zone master clock within the electronic device where the first time signal is unavailable or the first time quality of the global time source is degraded below a predetermined threshold. The embodiments also include a method for synchronizing time sources within a protection zone of a digital power substation.
