摘要: A high performance motorcycle having a frame, engine suspension, and rear wheel drive system that enables rider foot positioning close to the longitudinal centerline of the motorcycle and an overall aerodynamic profile. The engine suspension, centering and damping system allows for lateral movement while damping vibration and unwanted oscillations. The rear wheel drive includes a driven pulley axially disposed on a rear wheel axle, a drive pulley configured to receive motive output from the motorcycle engine, an idler pulley disposed above a line between the axes of rotation of the drive pulley and the rear wheel axle, and a belt or chain disposed around and operatively connecting the drive pulley, the driven pulley and the idler pulley, wherein the idler pulley and the drive pulley configured so as to provide substantially constant tension to a belt or chain over the range of travel of the rear suspension.

摘要: A saddle-ride type vehicle which includes a rear suspension supporting portion disposed on a cross member of a body frame, and an engine supported on the body frame, wherein the load transmission between the front and rear of the body frame is suppressed while mass concentration is achieved. The saddle-ride type vehicle supports a shock absorber upper end coupling portion on the cross member coupling left and right pivot frames, and supports the engine E below main frames forwardly of the pivot frames. The cross member is disposed closer to the seat rail coupling portions between upper rear portions of the left and right pivot frames. The shock absorber upper end coupling portion is provided at a leading end portion of a shock absorber support bracket extending forwardly and downwardly from the cross member.

摘要: An attitude controller eliminates a skid motion of a banked vehicle when travelling through a curve. The attitude controller includes a lateral acceleration sensor that obtains lateral acceleration, as rightward or leftward accelerations, acting on a vehicle of a motorcycle, a bank angle detector that detects a bank angle of the vehicle, and a longitudinal force controller that decreases, independently of each of the wheels, an absolute value of a longitudinal force as the sum of forward and backward forces acting on front and rear wheels based on the obtained lateral acceleration and the detected bank angle.

摘要: An electric vehicle comprises a motor controller for controlling an electric motor to execute a control routine to perform torque control when the driving power transmission path is detected to be in the driving power transmission state, and executes a control routine to perform rotational speed control, when the driving power transmission path is detected to be in the driving power cut-off state; wherein in the rotational speed control, an angular velocity of an upstream rotary member gets close to an angular velocity of a downstream rotary member; wherein when shifting from the driving power cut-off state to the driving power transmission state, the motor controller switches the rotational speed control to the torque control after performing predetermined transit control; and wherein a change rate of the torque output is made less in the transit control than in the torque control.

摘要: A motorcycle includes a vehicle body frame which extends in a front-rear direction of the vehicle, an engine unit that generates power that drives the motorcycle, a seat on which the rider sits, a storage box disposed below the seat, a fuel tank that stores fuel needed by the engine unit, and an air filter disposed above the engine unit to filter the air needed by the engine unit and includes an air intake hose to introduce air. The fuel tank is disposed below the seat and is located in front of the storage box. Moreover, the fuel tank is mounted on the vehicle body frame, and the air intake hose extends from the air filter toward an area between the fuel tank and the storage box such that a air inlet thereof is located in a space between the fuel tank and the storage box.

摘要: A motor drive for a bicycle is provided. The motor drive includes a drive wheel and a motor device driving the drive wheel. The drive wheel contacts the ground and moves the bicycle by rotating friction between the drive wheel and the ground. The motor device includes a fixing portion that attaches the motor device to the frame of the bicycle, and a driving portion that holds the drive wheel and drives the drive wheel. The driving portion is pivotable with respect to the fixing portion between a parking state and a driving state. The drive wheel is spaced from the ground in the parking state, and contacts the ground in the driving state.
