摘要: The invention relates to compositions, methods of use, and methods of manufacture for an intercalated bleach compound and compositions thereof. The intercalated bleach compound has the formula Mx(OCl)y(O)m(OH)n where M is an alkaline earth metal such as magnesium, calcium or mixture thereof. The values of x and y independently equal any number greater than or equal to 1 (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.), and m and n independently equal any number greater than or equal to 0 (e.g., 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.), but m and n are not both 0. In addition, the molar ratio of the alkaline earth metal (e.g., magnesium or calcium) to hypochlorite is at least 3:1. In other words, x is ≥3y. The compounds exhibit excellent stability, little or no chlorine bleach odor, exhibit excellent pH buffering characteristics, and less reactivity with organic materials as compared to alternative chlorine bleach products.

The agent includes surfactants, an adhesion promoter, and at least one active substance, wherein the adhesion promoter is selected from the group of the alkylene-styrene copolymers, the olefin homopolymers or olefin copolymers of two or more olefins, wherein the polymers can also be hydrogenated, and the polyalkylene derivatives, the active substance is an acid, an alkali, a bleaching agent, and/or hydrophobic organic solvent not bound in a gel, and the agent includes either at least 10 wt % of at least one acid or at least 10 wt % of at least one alkali and/or at least 5 wt % of a bleaching agent and/or includes at least 10 wt % of hydrophobic organic solvent not bound in a gel.

摘要: The invention relates to compositions, methods of use, and methods of manufacture for an intercalated bleach compound and compositions thereof. 摘要: The present invention relates to aqueous compositions of associative polyelectrolyte complexes (PECs), optionally containing surfactants, biocidal agents and/or oxidants, which can provide surface protection to treated articles including reduced soiling tendency, reduced cleaning effort and improved soil repellancy, as well as providing bacteriostatic properties to treated surfaces that thereby gain resistance to water, environmental exposure and microbial challenge. Treatment means and compositions are provided that employ associative polyelectrolyte complexes formed by combining a water soluble cationic first polyelectrolyte with a water soluble second polyelectrolyte bearing groups of opposite charge to the first polyelectrolyte under suitable mixing conditions where the one polyelectrolyte present in molar excess is added in the form of a first aqueous solution during a mixing step to a second aqueous solution comprising the oppositely charged polyelectrolyte present in molar deficiency. Also provided are means to form stable associative polyelectrolyte complexes in aqueous solutions having R values from about 0.10 to 20, including near stoichiometric R values approaching 1, being the ratio of charged groups present on the component polyelectrolytes employed.

Stabilized compositions employ a binding system comprising an anionic surfactant for a solid formulation of a catalyst activator and peroxygen source to provide shelf stability for an activated bleach composition. Methods of formulating and use are further disclosed.

摘要: A method is provided for cleaning a system by conducting continuously through the system a cleaning composition including at least one oxidizing agent and an indicator for detecting the cleanliness of the system by observation of a color change of the indicator. Color values are determined at one or more points and compared with a setpoint value. Color values F are determined at fixed time intervals after exit of the composition from the system; differences ΔF are formed from two color successive values; color values are determined before commissioning of the clean system until the difference ΔF=0, after which the color value measured last is defined as an inherent system value FA and a maximum tolerable deviation from this value is fixed as a setpoint value ΔFA for cleaning; and cleaning of the system is carried out after operation of the system until a difference of ≦ΔFA is measured.
