摘要: One variation of a cooling system includes: a cooling unit including a substrate defining a thermally-conductive material and a coating defining a porous, hydrophilic material. The substrate defines: a base; a heatsink structure extending from the base; and an open network of pores extending between surfaces of the substrate. The coating extends across surfaces of the substrate and lines the open network of pores within the substrate. The heatsink structure is configured to: communicate thermal energy from a first working fluid, flowing over the heatsink structure, into the heatsink structure, to cool the first working fluid; and release thermal energy and moisture, contained in pores of the coating, into a second working fluid flowing over the heatsink structure, to cool the second working fluid and the heatsink structure.

摘要: An indirect evaporative cooling system for cooling a space adjacent to or containing an ablution bay is described. The indirect evaporative cooling system includes a greywater source from the ablution bay and evaporative cooler apparatus located above the space to be cooled in a dome shaped housing. The evaporative cooler apparatus includes a wet channel, at least one spray nozzle, and a dry channel. The at least one spray nozzle is located at the top of the evaporative cooler apparatus and is fluidly connected to the greywater source and the wet channel. The wet channel is located directly above the dry channel. A first side of the dry channel is connected to a first opening with a fan and outside air.

摘要: A control system for ambient air exchange with a machine room or similar enclosure controls an exchange rate of the ambient air based on a temperature differential between the inside (machine room) and outside temperatures, rather than absolute thermostatic controls based solely on the interior temperature. A larger temperature difference between the inside and outside air means a greater cooling potential for the exchanged air. Ambient air exchange is performed by dampers/louvers/vents and a fan speed driving the air exchange. Control of the fan speed based on the temperature differential allows lower fan speeds for controlling the temperature when the temperature differential indicates ample cooling. Higher fan speeds, incurring additional electrical consumption and fan noise, are only needed when a relatively small differential limits the cooling ability of the exchanged air.

摘要: The ventilation system 1 according to the present disclosure includes: a refrigerant circuit 60; an air supply path having an interior in which a first heat exchanger 12 and a first air supply fan 22A and a second air supply fan 22B are arranged; an exhaust air path having an interior in which a second heat exchanger 32 and an exhaust fan 42 are arranged; a first air supply detector 23A for detecting a first supply airflow AF1 blown out by the first air supply fan 22A; a second air supply detector 23B for detecting a second supply airflow AF2 blown out by the second air supply fan 22B; and a control unit CU. The control unit CU executes first air supply control to adjust the rotational speed of the first air supply fan 22A so that the first supply airflow AF1 becomes a target value TV1, and second air supply control to adjust the rotational speed of the second air supply fan 22B so that the second supply airflow AF2 becomes a target value TV2.

摘要: In a mode in which a blowing fan is disposed in an air blowing chamber surrounded by heat exchangers, air sucked from an air blowing opening is directed to each heat exchanger without bias. Even in a mode in which an air blower is disposed in an air blowing chamber which is formed between a first heat exchange part and a second heat exchange part disposed to face each other, and an air suction opening is disposed on the side of a second air suction chamber outside the second heat exchange part, an air guide path is formed from the air suction part to a first air suction chamber on the side of the first heat exchange part between the rear surface of the decorative panel and the bottom surface of the drain pan, so that the air sucked from the air blowing opening is directed to the first heat exchange part and the second heat exchange part without bias.
