摘要: A service fault locating method and apparatus for precisely locating a network fault problem in a multi-layer OAM architecture network. The method includes: receiving a service fault locating request message; determining, an IPS, and an IPD, that a service fault is between a first layer-3 device and a second layer-3 device; obtaining a first network topology between the first layer-3 device and the second layer-3 device; determining a first forwarding path of the service packet between the first layer-3 device and the second layer-3 device according to the first network topology; configuring a forwarding entry of a forwarding device in the first forwarding path, and triggering the first layer-3 device to generate an extended layer-2 OAM packet; and obtaining a first path parameter of the first forwarding path, and determining a specific location of the service fault according to the first path parameter.

摘要: Systems and methods for automatically commissioning and operating a heating, ventilation, or air conditioning (HVAC) system for a building site are provided. An exemplary method includes constructing a model using physical equipment of the HVAC system and relationships between the physical equipment. The model indicates connections between the physical equipment and one or more resources produced or consumed by the physical equipment. The method includes generating a mapping between points of the physical equipment at the building site and corresponding variables of the model, using the model to generate values of one or more control variables of the model, and operating the physical equipment by providing the values of the control variables to corresponding points of the physical equipment based on the mapping.

摘要: Delayed node upgrade in distributed systems is described herein. A method as described herein can include halting first client disconnections associated with a reboot operation of a file system update at a first computing node of a computing cluster in response to the first computing node being added to a delay list; causing, in further response to the first computing node being added to the delay list, second client disconnections associated with the reboot operation of the file system update at a second computing node of a group of second computing nodes of the computing cluster that are distinct from the first computing node; clearing, in response to the file system update being completed at respective ones of the group of second computing nodes, the delay list; and restarting, in response to clearing the delay list, the first client disconnections at the first computing node.

摘要: Technologies for programming flexible accelerated network pipelines include a comping device with a network controller. The computing device loads a program binary file that includes a packet processing program and a requested hint section. The binary file may be an executable and linkable format (ELF) file with an extended Berkeley packet filter (eBPF) program. The computing device determines a hardware configuration for the network controller based on the requested offload hints and programs the network controller. The network controller processes network packets with the requested offloads, such as packet classification, hashing, checksums, traffic shaping, or other offloads. The network controller returns results of the offloads as hints in metadata. The packet processing program performs actions based on the metadata, such as forwarding, dropping, packet modification, or other actions. The computing device may compile an eBPF source file to generate the binary file. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

摘要: This application provides a method for managing a service in an NFV architecture, and an apparatus. The method includes: generating, by a first network element after receiving a network function virtualization NFV resource change notification sent by a virtualized infrastructure manager VIM, first constraint information used to modify NFVI software and/or hardware; and sending, by the first network element, a first notification message to the VIM, where the first notification message carries the first constraint information, and the first constraint information is used by the VIM to modify NFVI software and/or hardware based on the first constraint information.
