摘要: Provided is a method for manufacturing a laminated film that can be molded into a complicated shape. A method for manufacturing a laminated film comprising: a step of forming an uncured hard coat layer by applying an active energy-ray curable composition for forming a hard coat layer to one side of a first support substrate having a thickness of 50 μm or more and 600 μm or less, and then drying the composition; a step of forming an uncured optical interference layer by applying an active energy-ray curable composition for forming a optical interference layer on one surface of a second support substrate so that the thickness of the uncured optical interference layer is between 15 nm or more and 200 nm or less, and then drying the composition; and a lamination step of laminating a surface of the uncured hard coat layer opposite the first support substrate and a surface of the uncured optical interference layer opposite the second support substrate to obtain a laminated film, wherein a stretch ratio of the laminated film at 160° C. is 50% or more.

摘要: Provided is an aqueous coating composition capable of forming a coating film having superior metallic coating film appearance and coating film properties and reducing the amount of an organic solvent to be used. Also provided is a method for forming a metallic coating film using such an aqueous coating composition. Provided is an aqueous coating composition comprising a coating film-forming resin, a curing agent, a scaly pigment, an inorganic viscosity agent, a hydrophobic associative viscosity agent, and a dispersant, wherein the composition contains the inorganic viscosity agent in an amount of 1 to 7 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of the total resin solid content of the coating film-forming resin and the curing agent, and the composition contains the hydrophobic associative viscosity agent in an amount of 1 to 15 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of the total resin solid content of the coating film-forming resin and the curing agent.

An automobile part obtained by forming a coating film layer on a plastic material comprising a polypropylene resin composition modified with an elastomer component having a thickness of 1.5 to 2.5 mm, wherein said coating film layer is a multilayer coating film obtained by coating and baking the following coating compositions in this order; (a) a primer coating composition having a single film tensile elongation of 5 to 35% at −20° C., (b) a base coating composition containing a coloring agent and, (c) a clear coating composition containing at least a linear acrylic polyol (c-1) with a hydroxyl value of 80 to 220 mgKOH/g, a crosslinked acrylic resin (c-2) containing 2 to 30 parts by weight of polyfunctional monomer (c-2-1) with 2 to 4 radically polymerizable unsaturated groups per a molecule and 98 to 70 parts by weight of monofunctional monomer (c-2-2) with one polymerizable unsaturated group as a constituent unit, and having a glass transition point of 70 to 120° C., and a curing agent (c-3), and wherein the coating film layer has a Dupont impact strength of 4.9 J or more at −30° C.-

摘要: The coating film formed on an automobile body has softness during a film formation even on a thermally expandable/shrinkable base, and the cured film has an excellent appearance.Provided is a method for forming a multilayer coating film, the method comprises: applying an aqueous intermediate coating composition and preheating the applied composition at 60 to 90° C. to form an uncured film;preheating to form an uncured base coating film and a clear coating film; andbaking and curing these uncured films to form a multilayer coating film,wherein the aqueous intermediate coating composition comprises (a) an acrylic resin emulsion having a specific properties, and (b) a film formation auxiliary agent that is a fatty acid diester compound having a boiling point of 280° C. to 350° C., anda cured film comprising (a) and (b) at a mass ratio of 3:1 has a rupture elongation of 1% or more.

摘要: Provided is a method for forming a multilayer coating film, said method being suitably applicable to a wet-on-wet coating process comprising: applying a first water-borne base coating material to form an uncured first water-based base coating; and then applying a second water-based base coating material without preheating the uncured first water-borne base coating. A method for forming a multilayer coating film according to a wet-on-wet coating process which comprises applying a first water-based base coating material to the surface of a substrate to be coated and then applying, without preheating the thus formed coating, a second water-based base coating material, characterized in that: the first water-borne base coating material contains a hydrophilic association-type viscous material; and the composition of the second water-based base coating material is controlled.
