摘要: This invention relates to a rotatable device having two arms rotatably connected about a hollow hub wherein the arms include a cable extending through a passageway and the hub so as to minimize bending of the cables about each other when the arms are in a compact position. In particular this invention relates to a foldable GPS compass and a method relating thereto to present a compact folded device that is easier to install with minimal bending of the cables. The invention also discloses a detent disposed within the hub for accurate selective placement of the arms and method relating thereto.

摘要: A measurement system, its assembly and use are disclose. The system may include an instrument for making sensor measurements. The instrument has a substantially cylindrical housing. The shape and size allow the instrument to easily fit in an average hand enabling handheld operation. The housing houses a board stack of electronic boards. These electronics drive an electrical signal in at least one drive channel and measure responses from at least two sensing channels. These responses are provided to a processor for analysis. The instrument has a sensor connector that enables simultaneous electrical and mechanical attachment of an end effector.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for amplifying a plurality of targets in a single PCR run while distinguishing between clinically relevant amplification and amplification from other sources such as from background contamination. The methods and devices further enable discrimination between gram-positive, gram-negative and fungal infections as wells as identify antimicrobial resistance genes. When applying the methods and devices of the invention, the species or genus of an infection(s), and genus of a fungal co-infection(s) or category of bacterial (gram-positive or negative) co-infection(s) are identified. Species identification of co-infections can also be achieved. Further, when applying the methods and devices of the invention, organisms which are likely to be contaminating organisms from a blood draw are identified.

摘要: Conventional package for integration of MEMS and electronics suffer from profiles that are undesirably high to due to the thickness of the glass. Also in conventional package manufacturing, the MEMS and electronic devices are first individualized, and the individualized MEMS and electronics are combined into a package, and thus can be costly. To address these and other disadvantages, a panel level packaging is proposed. In this proposal, plural MEMS devices are integrated with plural semiconductor devices at a panel level, and the panel is then individualized into separate packages.

摘要: A system and method for optical perception can include a current confining pixel (CCP) that includes a detector pair, the detector pair including a first detector and a second detector, coupled together in an inverse polarity configuration such that the current confining pixel defines a sense node and a reference node together forming a differential output across the pair of detectors. The system and method can include a plurality of CCPs arranged in a CCP array, coupled together in any suitable manner; receiving, at a current confining pixel (CCP), an input signal; generating a differential output signal based on the input signal; and, analyzing an output of a CCP.
