摘要： A method for fabricating a junction field transistor for high-voltage applications. A lightly doped first epitaxial layer is formed on a highly doped substrate. A second epitaxial layer is deposited with a heavier dopant concentration than the first epitaxial layer. The second layer contains a control structure having a plurality of implanted gate regions and a source. A guard ring is formed to isolate the source and the control structure. The combination of the lightly doped first epitaxial layer and the guard ring enable the JFET to be operated with a breakdown voltage in excess of 100 volts. Multiple guard rings may be used to provide a breakdown voltage in excess of 150 volts.

摘要： Disclosed are personal cleansing compositions for rinse-off application to the hair, nails or skin. These compositions comprise a silicone-resin based adhesive including a silicone resin copolymer as a condensation product of an organosiloxane fluid and a silicone resin; a cleansing surfactant; and a carrier liquid. The personal cleansing compositions can also comprise as the silicone-resin based adhesive, in addition to or in place of the silicone resin copolymer, a combination of an organosiloxane resin and a diorganosiloxane fluid at a weight ratio of said resin to said fluid of from about 1:9 to about 10:1. The personal cleansing compositions provide hair styling benefits when applied to the hair, and when applied to the skin, barrier protection from surfactants or other materials having skin irritation potential.

摘要： A seed firming wheel attachment is disposed behind the paired discs of an opener to gently press deposited seeds down into the bottom of a V-shaped trench formed by the discs. An improved bearing assembly couples the wheel of the attachment to its support arm in such a manner that one side face of the upright wheel is left completely smooth and flat without projecting nuts or other structures that would tend to accumulate mud and trash. The solid, unbroken expanse of the smooth side face also serves to shield the bearing assembly against exposure to the elements from that side of the wheel. A specially configured inner race of the bearing assembly has a shaft portion that extends from the opposite side of the wheel to serve as a spacer between the wheel and its support arm, a receiver for the threaded fastening bolt of the assembly, and a sealing surface for a second, resilient, annular seal of the assembly against the elements.

Replaceable cooling and power supply assemblies are located within a second compartment of the drawer and can be removed from drawer via one of the openings without removing either of the groups of functional units. The fan of a combined cooling and power supply unit is arranged centrally within the second compartment such that it draws cooling air past the first group of units and exhausts air towards the second group of units.

As the coulter wears, the knife may be adjusted upwardly and forwardly along a slightly arcuate path of travel while simultaneously rocked slightly forwardly so as to maximize the length of the front knife edge that is close to the coulter while maintaining a substantially constant depth relationship between the knife and the coulter.
