摘要: The present invention can achieve the prevention of the corrosion of a metal separator, a reduction in contact resistance and an enhancement in cooling effect in a fuel cell. The separator includes an electrically conductive flat plate and two electrically conductive channel plates superposed on each other with the electrically conductive flat plate interposed therebetween. A plurality of manifolds for passing a reaction fluid to an adjacent cell are provided in the electrically conductive flat plate. A plurality of zigzag or straight through-channels for permitting the flowing of the reaction fluid from the manifolds are formed in each of the two channel plates. The through-channels in any one of the two electrically conductive channel plates are disposed so that they are partially overlapped with the manifolds in the electrically conductive flat plate, and the through-channels in the other electrically conductive channel plate are formed to be partially larger than the contour of the electrically conductive flat plate.

摘要: A fuel cell is provided therein with a metal separator for aiming at preventing corrosion and at reducing a contact resistance. The separator is compose of conductive passage board formed therein with passages, and a metal planar panel, the passage boards and the metal planar panel being superposed with one another. The metal planar panel is formed therein with a plurality of manifolds for passing reactive gas or cooling medium through an adjacent cell while the passage boards are formed therein with a plurality of meandering through channels for distributing the reactive gas or the cooling medium from the manifolds. Further, a part of the meandering through channels is superposed with a part or all parts of the manifolds, and a covering layer for preventing the metal planar panel from being corroded, and for restraining a growth of a nonconductive film is formed over an entire part of the metal planar panel or over at least a part thereof which makes contact with the meandering through channels.

摘要: A magnetic head wear-rate measuring apparatus for measuring the rate of head wear in noncontact form arranged to be opposed to a magnetic head and to serve as a part of oscillating elements of an oscillator circuit. A magnetic resistance of a magnetic circuit at a rotational position where the magnetic head faces the magnetic sensor, changes according to the degree of extension of the magnetic head from the surface of the drum, and the change in magnetic resistance acts as a variation in oscillating frequency. A counter is supplied with a pulse of a measured oscillating frequency and produces a pulse having a pulse width up to the counting of a predetermined number of pulses. The counter output is supplied to a second counter where the number of reference clocks lying within the pulse width is counted and used as measured data.
