摘要： First and second transmission lines and are connected to each other in series. A first terminator is connected to the first transmission line in parallel, and is provided externally of a semiconductor device. A second terminator is connected to the second transmission line in parallel, and is provided inside the semiconductor device. The values of the first and second terminator are adjusted so that the combined resistance value of first and second terminator and the second transmission line matches with the impedance of the first transmission line. Impedance matching of the entire transmission line can be achieved with this simple construction, thus, a stable, high quality signal can be transmitted.

摘要： A circuit board is provided in which tamper resistance is improved by making probing by third parties difficult, while solving problems associated with the current techniques and manufacturing costs. A signal line through which a confidential signal requiring tamper resistance flows and components 32 and 33 connected to the signal line 21 by the terminals thereof, are laid out in a component-containing layer 13 of a circuit board 10. Only a confidential signal having been encrypted through a predetermined component 31 is outputted to an observation point 34 provided on a surface of the circuit board 10. External observation and control of the confidential signal is performed by decoding a cipher provided by the component 31 to the signal which appears at the observation point 34.

摘要： A magnetic recording and reproduction apparatus includes a tape guide element guiding member for guiding a tape guide element; a bendable chain-like driving member having a first end and a second end, the chain-like driving member being connected to the tape guide element guiding member at the first end, and the second end of the chain-like driving member being pulled or pushed so as to produce a reciprocating movement of the tape guide element guiding member; and a chain guiding member for guiding the chain-like driving member. The chain-like driving member includes a plurality of flexures for facilitating a bending movement of the chain-like driving member. The chain-like driving member causes a reciprocating movement of the tape guide element while being bent during a loading operation and an unloading operation.

摘要： A loading mechanism for a magnetic recording/playback apparatus provides a positioning mechanism which can reliably and fixedly position a loading boat with a quite simple structure when completing an operation of withdrawing a magnetic tape. The invention also provides a loading post driving and pressing device which can eliminate the need of using a two-staged gear fitted with a spring, position two loading posts under pressing by one urging device, and realize reduction of the size, weight and thickness. The invention further provides a loading post driving device in which a gear serving as a prime mover part has the two-stages structure to realize reduction of the size, weight and height, and driving force can be directly transmitted from the gear serving as a prime mover part to a large loading gear by using no geneva gear.
