    摘要: The present invention discloses a method of broadband access device for controlling a DHCP relay user, which method comprises modifying protocol fields in all of DHCP messages interacted between a DHCP relay and a DHCP client and a DHCP server during initiation phase of the DHCP interaction at Application Layer of TCP/IP protocol so that all of the DHCP messages interacted between the client and the server can pass through the DHCP relay. The present invention can easily control and manage the interaction between the DHCP client and the external DHCP server, vary the network parameters of the DHCP user and detecting the DHCP user online and so on according to the requirements of the user management strategy. Furthermore, the present invention only needs to process Application Layer of TCP/IP protocol to achieve the predetermined purpose of control management.

    摘要: The present invention relates to nucleic acids encoding PBR-associated proteins (PAPs) and methods for use in producing PAPs and methods of using PAPs. In this study we have identified proteins (PAPs) that interact with PBR protein by a yeast two-hybrid system. We used PBR as bait to screen a mouse testis cDNA library. Five clones were isolated based on their ability to interact with PBR. These proteins may be involved in the regulation of the function of PBR, serving as an endogenous ligand or allosteric modulator of the receptor.

    摘要: The present invention proposes a method for generating a digital video signal from an analog input video signal, which prevents picture jitter in the digitized video signal when the analog input video signal is not in complete conformity with a standard. According to the invention, the method includes the steps of: detecting the type of signal source; in case the type of signal source is a non-standard type, detecting the existence of an error state; converting the analog input video signal to a digital video signal; in case an error state exists, replacing an error prone part of the digitized video signal with a substitute signal part; and in case the type of signal source is a standard type or no error state exists, keeping the digitized video signal unchanged.

    摘要: An external cavity laser apparatus and method wherein wavelength or channel selection is carried independently from adjustment of external cavity optical path length. The apparatus comprises a wavelength or channel selector tuner and an external cavity tuner, wherein the wavelength tuner is uncoupled from the external cavity tuner. The tuning mechanisms for wavelength selection and cavity optical path length are configured to operate independently or orthogonally with respect to each other. The wavelength tuner may operate according to a first, channel selection signal, while the external cavity tuner operates according to a second, external cavity adjustment signal. The wavelength tuner and external cavity tuner may operate under the control of the same, or of separate controllers. The channel selection signal may be derived from a look-up table of adjustment parameter data accessed by a controller, and the external cavity adjustment signal may be derived from an error signal from a detector configured to measure external cavity loss.

    摘要: External cavity lasers apparatus and methods that allow fast tuning, high wavelength stability, low cavity losses, and form factors that are comparable to solid state, fixed wavelength lasers. The apparatus comprise a gain medium emitting a light beam, a tunable wavelength selection element positioned in the light beam and configured feed back light of a selected wavelength to the gain medium, and a microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) actuator element operatively coupled to the tunable wavelength selection element. The MEMS actuator element may be configured to actuate the tunable wavelength selection element according to a first degree of freedom to select the wavelength of the feedback to the gain medium, and to actuate the actuate the tunable wavelength selection element according to a second degree of freedom to provide phase control of the feedback. The MEMS actuator element and tunable wavelength selection element may additionally be configured such that actuation of the tunable wavelength selection element with respect to a third degree of freedom provides a selectable level of attenuation of the feedback to the gain medium.
