Abstract: An apparatus of a UE includes processing circuitry coupled to a memory. To configure the UE for NR V2X sidelink communication, the processing circuitry is to decode SCI received from a second UE via a PSCCH, the SCI indicating sidelink resources from a sidelink resource pool reserved by the second UE. A set of candidate sidelink resources is determined for reservation by the UE from the sidelink resource pool is determined. The set is divided into multiple time slots and frequency sub-channels and is non-overlapping in time with the sidelink resources reserved by the second UE. A second SCI is encoded for transmission via the PSCCH, the second SCI indicating a plurality of sidelink resources from the set of candidate sidelink resources. A PSSCH is encoded for transmission, the PSSCH is encoded to include a transport block mapped across the plurality of sidelink resources.

Resource configurations can be adjusted, including providing a new physical layer numerology, reducing transmission time (TTI) interval duration, providing a smaller sidelink control information period, configuring logical sidelink control periods and/or multiplexing of control and data transmissions.

Abstract: An apparatus of user equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry coupled to a memory, where to configure the UE for Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication (URLLC) in a New Radio (NR) network, the processing circuitry is to decode higher layer signaling indicating a UE-specific DL SPS configuration. The DL SPS configuration including a periodicity of control information communication and a number of DL data repetitions for a transport block. A DCI format received via a PDCCH based on the periodicity in the DL SPS configuration is decoded. Multiple PDSCH slot allocations are detected in the DCI format using the number of DL data repetitions. DL data received via the PDSCH within the multiple PDSCH slot allocations is decoded.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) can receive, from an eNodeB, a serving PLMN system information block (SIB)19 for a carrier frequency of a serving PLMN of the UE. The UE can acquire inter-frequency and inter-PLMN discovery system information acquisition assistance signaling information from the SIB19. The UE can process a non-serving PLMN SIB19 for one or more carrier frequencies of a non-serving PLMN using the inter-frequency and inter-PLMN discovery system information acquisition assistance signaling information. The UE can identify inter-frequency and inter-PLMN discovery announcement rate information and monitoring control configuration information for the one or more carrier frequencies of the non-serving PLMN to enable the UE to perform device-to-device (D2D) discovery with a UE in the non-serving PLMN according to the inter-frequency and inter-PLMN discovery announcement rate information and monitoring control configuration information.

Abstract: A User Equipment (UE) and a Radio Access Network (RAN) node may be configured to use multiple Scheduling Request (SR) configurations. A SR configuration may indicate to radio resources to be used to communicate a SR to the RAN node. The RAN node may provide UE with information associating logical channels to SR configurations. When the UE has data to transmit to the RAN node, the UE may determine the logical channel corresponding to the data, determine the SR configuration corresponding to the logical channel, and communicate a SR to the RAN node in accordance with the SR configuration. Upon receiving the SR, the RAN node determine the SR configuration used to transmit the SR and in turn determine the logical channel for which the SR was transmitted. The RAN node may then transmit an Uplink (UL) grant for the logical channel to the UE.

Abstract: An eNodeB operable to perform Enhanced Interference Mitigation & Traffic Adaptation (eIMTA) is disclosed. The eNodeB can select a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) that is used for eIMTA. The eNodeB can determine a periodicity for monitoring a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) with the RNTI. The eNodeB can determine a set of subframes to monitor the PDCCH with the RNTI within the periodicity. The eNodeB can encode, for transmission to a user equipment (UE), the RNTI, the periodicity for monitoring the PDCCH with the RNTI, and the set of subframes to monitor the PDCCH with the RNTI.

Abstract: Technology for an eNodeB operable to control communications at a relay user equipment (UE) is disclosed. The eNodeB can select the relay UE to relay proximity services (ProSe) traffic between the eNodeB and a remote UE based on one or more relay quality indicators associated with the relay UE. The eNodeB can communicate, to the relay UE, control signaling to configure one or more orthogonal timelines to cause the relay UE to resolve ProSe communications between the relay UE and the remote UE that conflict with uplink hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement (ACK) or negative acknowledgement (NACK) transmissions from the relay UE to the eNodeB.

Abstract: Wireless device, method, and computer readable media are disclosed for determining which channel status information (CSI) report of a user equipment (UE) to drop from a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) packet. The method may include determining that a first CSI report and a second CSI report are to be sent in the PUCCH, where the first CSI report has a first reporting type and a first CSI sub-frame set, and the second CSI report has a second reporting type and a second CSI sub-frame set. The method may include determining to drop the first CSI report if the first CSI sub-frame set has a second lower priority than the second CSI sub-frame set. The determination to drop may be further based on a CSI processor index, serving cell index, and the CSI report priority.
