    摘要: Oxygen-transferable perfluorocarbon compounds having 9 to 11 carbon atoms such as perfluorodecalin, perfluoro(C.sub.3-5 -alkylcyclohexanes), perfluoro(C.sub.4-6 -alkyl tetrahydropyrans), perfluoro(C.sub.5-7 -alkyltetrahydrofurans), perfluoro(C.sub.5-7 -alkylmorpholins) and perfluoro(C.sub.9-11 -trialkylamines) are emulsified in a physiologically acceptable aqueons solution such as Ringer's solution by the aid of a phospholipid as emulsifier and a fatty acid of 8 to 22 carbon atoms, alkali metal salt or monoglyceride thereof as emulsifying adjuvant. The emulsion is stable for a considerable period of time and contains particles having a particle size ranging from 0.05 to 0.3 .mu.. It is usable as a blood substitute or a perfusate for preservation of the internal organs.

    摘要: Human serum albumin obtained by gene manipulation techniques can be purified by a combination of specified steps in which a culture supernatant obtained from a human serum albumin-producing host is subjected to ultrafiltration, heat treatment, acid treatment and another ultrafiltration, followed by subsequent treatments with a cation exchanger, a hydrophobic chromatography carrier and an anion exchanger, and by salting-out to thereby obtain a pure form of human serum albumin which contains substantially no proteinous and polysaccharide contaminants, which is formulated into a pharmaceutical preparation. The thus obtained human serum albumin can further be purified by treating recombinant human serum albumin with a hydrophobic chromatography carrier at pH of 2 to 5 and a salt concentration of 0.4 to 1 and exposing the carrier to a pH of 6 to 8 and a salt concentration of 0.01 to 0.3 M, or treating the culture supernatant with boric acid or a salt thereof at pH 8 to 11 for 1 to 10 hours and recovering the supernatant. This process makes it possible to effeciently purify recombinant human serum albumin and to provide substantially pure human serum albumin which does not contain producer host-related substances and other contaminants and is sufficiently free from coloration.

    摘要: Disclosed is an infusion preparation for nutrient supply use. It comprises a sugar, amino acids, electrolytes and a fat emulsion. It has an excellent shelf life without causing precipitation, denaturation and the like in spite of the simultaneous presence of these components. Also disclosed is a container filled with infusion liquids comprising a first and a second compartments separated from each other by a separation means, wherein an infusion liquid containing a fat emulsion and a sugar is included in the first compartment and another infusion liquid containing amino acids and electrolytes is included in the second compartment. Further disclosed are an infusion preparation comprising a fat emulsion and a sugar, and an infusion preparation comprising amino acids and electrolytes. An infusion preparation containing a sugar, amino acids, electrolytes and a fat emulsion can be obtained easily and aseptically upon use, by simply removing a separation means attached to the container and mixing the two infusion liquids.

    摘要: There is provided a novel perfluorochemical represented by the formula, ##STR1## wherein R.sub.F is a perfluoroalkyl group, a perfluoro alkoxyalkyl group or a perfluoroalkyloxy group, X and X' are same as or different from each other and are a fluorine atom or a perfluoroalkyl group, and Y is a perfluoroalkyloxy group or a perfluoro dialkylamino group, the total number of the carbon atoms contained being an integer of 8 to 11 inclusive. The perfluorochemical is prepared by perfluorinating the corresponding partially fluorinated compound which may have unsaturated hydrocarbon moiety, only with molecular fluorine in a stoichiometric excess amount in an inert solvent.The perfluorochemical is used for preparing a stable emulsion as blood substitutes or perfusion media.
