摘要: An apparatus and method for detecting the heart rate of a fetus. The apparatus includes three detectors detecting heart beats of the fetus, each detector including at least two electrodes detecting ECG signals, the detectors being positioned on an abdomen of a mother in use. The apparatus also includes a processor coupled to the detectors, the processor being adapted to process the ECG signals received from the detectors and determine a heart rate of the fetus. The method of determining the heart rate of the fetus includes determining a position of the fetus within a womb, placing the detectors on an abdomen of the mother, monitoring the ECG signals obtained from the detectors for a predetermined length of time, and processing the ECG signals obtained from the detectors positioned on the abdomen of the mother to determine heart beats of the mother.

摘要: A computer apparatus for performing financial transaction processing on a plurality of accounts is disclosed. The computer apparatus comprises a data storage device having a plurality of account files, with each account file storing data relating to a particular account; a data processor for processing data relating to the account files; an input for receiving data relating to the account files and an output for outputting data relating to the account files. The input is arranged to receive data relating to debits and credits for particular account files which are processed by the data processor and stored in the corresponding account files on the data storage device. The data processor is arranged such that an account holder may have the file for their account on the data storage device marked with an indicator for activation of assistance when the account holder for that particular account file has committed expenditure which is greater than income. The marking of an account file on a computer apparatus may initiate, for example, the cancellation or repayment of at least a proportion, such as 50%, of an account file's balance on the computer apparatus, the interruption of any further debits from the account and the prompting of a financial review for the account holder which may include debt counselling. The outcome of the debt counselling may initiate cancellation or repayment of any remaining proportion of the account balance on the computer apparatus and closing or freezing of the account. Alternatively, the account on the computer apparatus may be “un-marked” such that it no longer indicates activation of assistance.

摘要: A method, system, and architecture for managing computer systems is provided. A management system employs management objects (MOs) to provide administrators the ability to intuitively express the administrative intent in an information technology (IT) environment, and to act out the administrative intent based on the information gathered by the management system. Managed elements of an IT environment, such as, by way of example, hardware components, software applications, software updates, software distribution policies, configurations, settings, etc., may be expressed as MOs. Actions, such as, by way of example, detect, install/apply, remove, remediate, enumerate, etc., may be associated with the MOs. The management system manages the computer systems by deploying the appropriate MOs and their associated actions onto the computer systems, and performing the actions on the computer systems.

摘要: An improved pad and process for polishing metal damascene structures on a semiconductor wafer. The process includes the steps of pressing the wafer against the surface of a polymer sheet in combination with an aqueous-based liquid that optionally contains sub-micron particles and providing a means for relative motion of wafer and polishing pad under pressure so that the moving pressurized contact results in planar removal of the surface of said wafer, wherein the polishing pad has a low elastic recovery when said load is removed, so that the mechanical response of the sheet is largely anelastic. The improved pad is characterized by a high energy dissipation coupled with a high pad stiffness. The pad exhibits a stable morphology that can be reproduced easily and consistently. The pad surface resists glazing, thereby requiring less frequent and less aggressive conditioning. The benefits of such a polishing pad are low dishing of metal features, low oxide erosion, reduced pad conditioning, longer pad life, high metal removal rates, good planarization, and lower defectivity (scratches and Light Point Defects).
